IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!!!! SNOW EVERYWHERE!!!
Yeah, so I was out digging snow out of the driveway, thankful it wasn't the 50 foot driveway at my old house. We must have gotten a good 7 inches here (judging by the accumulation in my driveway). But what a good time for it to snow!
You see, since it was Christmas Day, I didn't have to go to work last night OR the night before. I really didn't want to dig myself out at 10:00 pm, then have to worry about working all night, especially since I had a few teens from my congregation over for movies and food (mental note: crackers and cheese-in-a-can will now be a staple for entertaining purposes) and was wiped out from being up all day.
Around 6:00 or so last night, the guy in the unit next to me wanted to know if I could help shovel snow... I told him I had some guests, so I couldn't do it then... little did I know he was going to have HIS friends over ALL NIGHT LONG!!! I guess that's why he wanted me to help him... Fortunately, he's pretty good about noise levels and our units adjoin each other only by my kitchen, so I didn't hear much...
Anyway, this morning I dug out the car and a path out of the driveway... so beat! I got to wondering how everyone else is coping with the winter weather!

living in an apt, i happily sit back while my landlord cleans off the steps and the small sidewalk. (ahhhh) what's annoying is when i go thru the trouble of cleaning out my parking space, and when i return from the meeting, a kindly neighbor has taken my spot. (arrrrgh)
Yeah, I hear you... when I lived in a complex, it was the same thing. Last month, when we had some snow here, I came home from work and the driveway was plowed... nothing like that today :-(

hahahah my daddy shovels most of the time but when it snows before he gets home from work, we have to do it so he'll be able to pull into the driveway. but since on wed. we weren't home, he did it with annalisa's and melanies help. they had a good time too.
