The Fest For Beatles Fans

delliott101 by delliott101 · Feb 6, 2003 · Article · 202 views

Why is it I'm catching up on Beatles stuff?

Anyway, it's that time of year again... beatlefest is coming to the Meadowlands March 28-30, 2003 at the NJ Crowne Plaza. For show info and ticket prices, go here

I haven't been to one in about 15 years, so I think I will make this one. Merchandise is sold, movies and TV shows are shown, live performers (including Liverpool, a Beatles sound-alike band that includes Mitch Weissman... he played Paul in Broadway's "Beatlemania"), talent shows and lots of guest performers and Beatle experts!

A splendid time is guaranteed for all!

schweet! now if you said mccartney was going to be singing there i'd be there with bells on.

delliott101 delliott101OG 2002

Mitch Weissman, back in the Beatlemania (the play, that is) heyday was considered Paul's twin. The look and sound were pretty much dead on, even though he has a much rounder face than Macca does...

ilikebirds ilikebirdsOG 2002

delliott101 delliott101OG 2002

I KNOW... especially ones where they cut up the tape of the caliope into 6 inch strips, throw them up into the air and splice the tape back together to make it sound psychadelic..

ok4now ok4nowOG 2002

forrestina forrestinaOG 2002
