Ok, we all need about 5 minutes per day of pure enjoyment when we find a website we've never seen before and it keeps us occupied for a good 10 minutes. This one is great because not only does it provide British accents (male and female), it also does Spanish. Think of the voicemail possiblities!

Bell Labs Text to Cool Accent Converter

In order to make it work, you have to submit it, and save it as a .wav file, then play it back through winamp or something like it.

This site is kind of in testing form, I think, so if you try to do it 40 or 50 times in a day it probably won't keep letting you. But pass it on to your friends!

i actually played with this last night. it's pretty cool. they've come a long way with this since the first version a few years ago. i think the best sounding one is the female british accent.
