by Turns out that the Star Wars Kid that was linked here on eZabel a few days ago has turned into another 'net phenomenon. The videos have been downloaded over 1,000,000 times on the web, and even got write-ups in Wired and The New York Times.
The owner of jish.nu also called the kid up and did an interview with him, haha. Turns out he wants an iPod. So, of course, the geek community has started a fundraiser for him. haha
The fundraiser was just supposed to raise enough money to get the kid an iPod, but so far there has been over $2200 donated! Talk about striking it rich! Hhaha! Now you're all jealous of the Chubby Star Wars Kid!
