by Has anyone noticed Eminem will get played on Rock/Rap Radio stations.
The Beastie Boys however will only get played on Rock stations yet they are Rap.
Both are white yet the poor beastie boys are discriminated against because their producer is not the DR. DRE and will not be played on Rap radio stations!

the beastie boys are amazing. it's not fair
and usually all they play is brass monkey and sometimes sabotage.... we want variety!

i like the no commercials idea. and i like the "same station across the US" idea. Does it display song titles/artist information also?
the only thing i don't like is how your radio has to be XM READY, THEN you need a separate reciever and antenna, etc...very gay.
I just recently dropped my Sirius Satellite Radio service, but not because I didn't like it.. I'm just simplifying my life. Sirius was sweet. And, I can't speak for XM, but with Sirius, yes, it did display the song title and artist information. I'm sure XM does the same for you, tho.. seeing as their each other's competitors, they'd hafta offer it. My car stereo didn't come Sirius ready.. I worked in Car Stereo, and they were running a promotion that if you used the service for 3 months, you get the tuner, antenna, and modulator free. The service was $12.95 a month, and worth it, too. One song after another. Not even 5 second commercials. It was grreat. I always found something I liked, and there wasn't a 10-song rotating play list, like normal radio, that makes you wanna put in one of your CDs, cuz the same 10 songs day in, day out, does have the tendancy to make you hurl. I'm really tempted to reinstate the service.
on my phone it doesn't because i don't have a "screen" (if that's what you call it). however there are at times commercials on some of the stations.

i thought he got played on the rock stations for using the aerosmith song, and since they're rock, its kinda like a remix.......rap style.
i haven't listend to the radio in awhile.. but i remember them playing "GONE" on hot 97.1

they've been playing this classic rock station in my college gym lately, but its like the same 3 songs EVERY time i'm in there. the beatles - come together, jimi hendrix - american woman, and creedence clearwater revival - brown eyed girl. then these stupid DJs come on and whoop hysterically about the GAYEST CRAP! oh well... it's better than hot 97 or that "christian rock station" they had on once, i think every chorus could be summarized into this: "he is the way, he is the light, he will take my hand, Jesus is the man" seriously the stupidest DUMBEST songs ever. im done.

i think the best radio station in down in Sea Isle City near Wildwood. they were playing Thursday, Metallica, and others when we were down there last year. and all actual good music.
