Three's a Tragedy
Well, they say celebrity tragedies usually come in threes. Here's a recap of the latest:
Thursday (Sept 11) - Actor John Ritter dies at age 54
i watched alot of three's company. i can't get over how completly silly it is to watch now, tho. tv-land has some tributes both sunday and monday.
Friday (Sept 12) - Johnny Cash, legendary Man in Black dies at 71
i can't say i listened to ALOT of cash, but whenever i caught his songs on the radio, i just had to listen. 'a boy named sue' struck me as a funny song, and i never got tired of hearing it. i can't say i was awfully fond of the recent 'hurt' cover with its nin self-mutiliation undertones, but the video was certainly moving.
Sunday (Sept 14) - Yetunde Price, 31, shot following 'confrontation'
yetunde is the older sister of venus and serena williams. she kept her mother's maiden name after their parents divorced. i must say i don't know what's up with this family. ever since they started winning tournaments and getting more publicity, they've gotten more caught up in this system. it's sad they now have another tradegy to deal with. i'm curious as to what this will mean to their faith.

omg!! i almost cried when i found out that John Ritter ( i almost wrote Jack Tripper) died!! My little sister told me first and i didnt believe her!! i was sooooo sad when my mom said it was true. What are they gonna do with 8 Simple Rules now? He was like the star of that show and i just started!
i've only seen bits and pieces of it...yeah, it's too bad that they may have to cancel the show now. i heard they only filmed 3 episodes of the 2nd season.
yeah, it's too bad. they'll have to stop the show i guess.... what a shame, i mean we're talking Emmy material.
Yeah I actually cried for John Ritter. I got made fun of for it, but I cried. He was so funny, and so full of life. Death sucks
yes death does suck. especially when you die because while being attacked by rabid leeches on the space shuttle and trying to defend yourself with a vacuum by sucking them up you accidentaly get your head caught in the hose and get completely sucked inside then get ejected from the escape pod port only to end up in the vast vacuum of space where you explode... 4 times.
;) very appropriate s/n.
hahah that's so wrong dude. reminds me of Space Quest!
the only tim allen movie that was actually sort of funny
ehhhh?
I meant Sierra's Space Quest series of adventure games.
haha... nevermind... i was thinking of "galaxy quest" with tim allen
ah! That was a pretty funny movie actually.
afa U saying how caught up in this system that family is getting, thats an understatement!
dunno if the one killed was a *sister*, but if she was what was she doin out past midnight with a parole violater??? oh, having a *study*?
it's not like she was a teenager. 'out past midnight'? c'mon.
WITHA FELON VIOLATING HIS PAROLE>????? ok. innocent.
whoever has a confrontation with someone in compton at midnight is waiting to get shot.
I was really saddened by the news of John Ritter's death... never saw 8 Simple Rules, but of course Three's Company was a huge hit in the late '70's into early '80's. I had tears in my eyes...
Johnny Cash was a musical legend and even though he was a country music patriarch, he transended many genres and achieved legendary status in the field of entertainment.
Never heard of the third person or why she's even mentioned with real celebrities...
As opposed to the fake celebrities?
it's all about alliteration
EXACTLY!!! heh...
thank you!! i was trying to name the song that johnny cash covered that was a nine inch nails songs and i coulnd't think of what it was. although while describing it to jesset i told him it started with an r. oh well. he'll read this and know.
oh man bry where you at for our special version of this song?
i still tear up, when i think of john ritter's work in problem child 1,2,3 and 4
don't they say all deaths come in threes?
wow! can't get anything past you, can i?
well you said all celbrity deaths. does them being celbreties makes their deaths different? i mean they die but you made their sound special.
ok, i see your point. but i had always heard it apply to famous people. (adding the williams' sister was a stretch, but i needed a third for the list. i guess i shoulda used wooley, the guy who sung "purple people eater" who died recently...well, next time then.)
some guy from jewels band died that day too i heard
yea i didn't cry at all... or even pay attention. then again i'm an insensitive jerk. whatever.
point is suzanne somers used to be so hot. it was a tough call.. the daughters or the mother in step by step...
the only scene i ever remember from step by step is all the girls enter a modeling competition and they all show off for the boys even though there are boys there, except for one girl who was mad the whole time. always made me think.
I forgot about that show!!!
the tom-boy daughter definately, she got relly hot after one seson!
love is a burning thing, and it makes a firey ring. bound by wild desire, i fell into a ring of fire.
Chrissy is hottttttttttttt!!!
*bounce* *bounce* yep *bounce* *bounce*
HAHAHA. Headline from TheOnion.com:

Wish To Meet Johnny Cash
haha... saw that... so messed up
yeah i retold it in the car with some people and the reaction was an awkward sileence, somebody said "John Ritter never met Johnny Cash?" I jumped out of the car
