by Summer time got you down? To much talk about the beach or the heat? Well, for all you snowboarders who can't wait for winter: I just got an email from Whistler Mountain, the best place to ride in North America. It sounds SO awesome, I really want go to there again! Here's what it had to say:
Whistler Blackcomb Invests $14.2 Million in On-Mountain Improvements and Introduces Peak to Creek and Flute Bowl.
The big is getting bigger. Whistler Blackcomb introduces 1100 acres of new terrain on Whistler Mountain with the official opening of the long-awaited west side of Whistler, Peak to Creek, and the addition of Flute Bowl, offering a unique in-bounds backcountry experience. The new areas comprise Whistler Mountain's single largest terrain expansion ever.
In January 2005, Whistler Blackcomb will host the first-ever Snowboard World Championships to be held in North America. The most important snowboard event next to the Olympics, the Championships will be the highlight of the 2004/05 winter season and offer a great 'warm-up' to 2010.
In preparation for the Snowboard World Championships, Whistler Blackcomb is constructing a new Superpipe on Blackcomb Mountain in the Base ll area. Featuring World Cup sanctioned specs, the Superpipe will be an impressive, fully-lit addition to Night Moves after the Championship event.
Whistler Blackcomb's award winning parks are about to get even better. The rails in the Blackcomb Terrain Park will receive an upgrade and progressive new shapes will be introduced - including several signature Whistler Blackcomb rails. A new Zaugg Pipe Shaper on Whistler will increase the introductory pipe's wall height from 10' to 13' and three new Piston Park Bullies will be purchased for use on both mountains. It's all about progression.

Seriously, though, up in Columbus, there's this awesome place to go. My husband and his friend went last year and had a blast. Also, Perfect North in Indiana is really good, too.

Okay, just because people like us insist that no matter what job we have we must have mondays off all summer does not mean we are obsessed with the beach or anything. We are goddesses of the sun.
no i believe that is called "spoiled" hey... whats the chances of me meeting up with you guys after work on a monday? like... i get out at 3 30... i could drive down and get there by 4 30... when do you leave?
Okay..one, it takes more then an hour to get there. And around 5-5:30 we hit the boardwalk so you could always meet us there. If we don't go to the boardwalk we stay at the beach longer.
lol what beach..i made it down to LBI in an hour an 10 min from my old house... i bet i could do better from here... where do you go?
Island Beach State Park. And you have to be lying, LBI is 2 hours away at the least with no traffic. Either that or you were breaking the sound barrier.
i got 4 witnesses with me.. ask jesse t and nicole and bert... i was going more or less 100 for most of the time...

You forgot Mount Hood Oregon
technically I forgot a whole lot of places...and I've never been to Mount Hood, Oregon. Of course, I've never been to Columbus, Ohio to snowboard, either, but I'm sure it's not as good as Whistler.
haha dude Mount Hood is a volcano in Oregon covered with snow that when you fly you can see the top of it coming through the clouds. This baby rocks.
