Paint
I dont get the question, but love has to be the answer
it can't be love b/c some people paint sad or dramatic things that they don't necessarily love. i think it is awe b/c you have to have a certain sense of awe or wonder for whatever it is you are trying to depict otherwise why would you bother to paint (draw, scult, whatever)the person, scene, etc.
then you can argue its your 'love' or 'passion' for expression yourself.. that creates art....
good point birds... thats what I was about to say...
perhaps "awe" isn't the right word. then no one answer totally applies. i hate your stupid poll, even if it is thought provoking
when i read "art" i thought of lyrics for some reason, which is why i voted love. but also i think the basis of true art has to be love anyway, because true artists create true art because they love art, regardless of whether they love or hate the subject. true art has lots of emotion, regardless of what that emotion or mood is, it is spurred by love.
eh, that's my take anyway.
i dont know.. heartburns pretty intense. i mean... it hurts literally
true, true, but i dont really think it inspires too many people
thats what i thought of too...almost every song you can think of is about love...in some way...heartbreak, happy love....every type of love...thats what motivates music and art....for the most part
courtney, you really love me, don't you?? well, i'm sorry. i love whales. i know you will be sad.
:(
Turn the frown upside down! :)
listen, dude, whatever medication you're taking, don't stop, ok? eventually it will start working.
i don't know. a lot of great art has been created from love but hate is always such a strong force. its as big as an emotion today as love is. tortured hateful artists can be very talented. like people sing blues good cuz they're sad and down. people paint good when they have all these pent up emotions that just need to get out some how. because when you're in love you have somebody to give your love to. hate is pent up anger and frustration that comes out in art.
no one has written a poem? painted a picture? wrote a song...because they were just plain genuinely happy? interesting.
i think love and sadness should be equal but i'm surprised sadness isnt winning..i think there's more songs/poems/stories about heart-ache rather than love..hmm, maybe not.
i think nature should be an option too. I think a lot of art is inspired by the beauty around people.
