eZabel Legacy

Alex Warren showed up in November 2002 from Woodland Hills, California, and immediately chose chaos. His very first comment called someone's poem the work of "a 3 year old," his journal introduced himself by declaring the entire site "a bunch of whiney kids with waaaaaaay too much time on their hands," and within hours he had skaorsk8, beachbum, ilikebirds, and thefunkyfresh all firing back at him with escalating hostility. He told people to drive off cliffs, mocked journals, insulted news articles, and generally behaved like someone who had wandered into a house party just to knock drinks out of people's hands. rocksupastar tried diplomacy ("nobody reply to alex when he is acting like a little girl"), punkprincess hit him with "are we supposed to be impressed by your quick witted sarcasm? inconceivable," and skaorsk8 unleashed a barrage of insults so relentless that he later apologized for "calling you fag 50,000 times." All 26 of Alex's comments landed between November 2002 and February 2003, a brief, chaotic window of provocation that burned hot and then vanished entirely.

eZabel Personality Type: ESTP — "The Visiting Arsonist." Alex was 19, bored, and three thousand miles from New Jersey, which made him the perfect troll — close enough to ekulu's California orbit to get an account, far enough from everyone else to not care about the fallout. His snowboarding journal was the one sincere thing he posted. Everything else was pure provocation, and the community's furious, unified response to him became one of eZabel's most memorable collective moments.
