Actually, after experiencing 'swimming' in something other then water, I've realized it's not all flowers and sunshine. It's actually gross. Yeah sure, sand in the bathing suit sucks and all, but having junks of jello, mud, or noodles (in this case) is really gee-ross. It gets in your hair and all, and it's not as easy to get out as sand. Also, picking green dried jello out of your ear the next day is no picnic. Sand is lovely. You can't make castles out of NOODLES! You'd just have a big pile of noodles in the end, how pathetic.
