Alright, back in the day(as in like the victorian era), art was basically restricted to the upper class - the "elite", and highly educated..The common folk had no concern w/it....But, one day...Art...

its true. i could splat colors on a white board and call it art. or draw squares and circles. but when you talk about replicating the type of artwork that davinci, greco, michalengalo, velasquez or people like that; lots of people don't paint like that anymore. its more about feeling and impressions (which is completely fine and i enjoy a lot of it) but old paintings were so much more about painting a picture and describing every detail.

music is so much more about feeling. and it was like, "how can i express this love? write a symphony." but now its like, "how can i write a song about love that will make me rich?"
