I couldn't find Sealand on the last website, so I guess it doesn't have every country on it.
Oh wow..I am a failure!
Haha. Actually, I really wouldn't expect them to have it since most of the world doesn't even recognize it as a sovereign nation.
stipulations, stipulations.
sadly it is true
I'm just going to take my "#9 of Ezabel" medal and fade away now
i'll take the t-shirt i get for being 25th and get salsa all over it while i attend the next exciting ezabel event.
BTW, if anyone doesn't know what Sealand is, here is their website. No, this is not a joke. This place actually exists.
Well..I know where I'm moving!! This statement just touched my heart:
"We would like to make it clear that after 32 years of pioneering work, and the blood sweat and tears that have been part of the rich adventure in the formation and establishment of the Principality of Sealand, our web site is the only official web site of the Principality of Sealand. It has come to our attention that others are claiming to represent us on the Internet and in the press, even showing photographs of my family and offering membership of business foundations, fake Sealand passports, and other services. Some of these people, it seems, were involved in the terrorist attack on Sealand in the 1970s that nearly resulted in loss of life, and did involve an international incident with the British, Dutch and German governments."
~ Michael of Sealand
wait! i have something to say on this topic!
sealand, because it has no laws from any european nations, does a lot of...shall we say...(ian you'll appreciate this)...illegal server storage. You want to host...an illegal website?? sure! they will do it for you! the box will sit on their island (i guess they have a fiber optic cable running to it) and they will host your website. AND if the government of your particular nation tries to shut them down - they are heavily armed.
(take that, MPAA!)
haha. i read this in a UK issue of PCGamer magazine.
dan! are you thinking what i'm thinking? errr, probably not. carry on.
you should read Cryptonomicon. You might like it.
Sealand, now there is an imaginative name.
how interesting. we should make an ezabel event to go there.
