Yea you can't expect the freedoms you have now with a new job. that takes time. when you get a new job you're starting all over again. from the bottom of the ladder, the first rung. So expect that. But time will change it. So find a job, any job, in the field you want to get into... even if it's the mailroom clerk opening letters and licking them to check for anthrax as long as it's in an architecture firm... any janitor can move to ceo.. with a few classes and some friends...so go for it.
