ya know what i'm doing for snowboarding season?
i'm taking the money i'd spend on gas, rentals, and a lift ticket....and going to disney world!
forget the cold, i'm gonna be in shorts while all you guys are in the snow with red noses
eh, ur gonna get burnt... then YOULL have a red nose too!
hahah, that was good
LOL i'll be the same, but on the west coast.
it seriously doesn't look like we're going to get much rain, therefore no snow. only manmade and thats not cool.
it's better than nothing....
manmade is the worst. it hurts, there's dry patches....my list can go on and on.
one day when you ride east coast, you'll be thankful for man made. You have no idea what rough riding is. Here you need to have wheels on the bottom of your board, because you're most likely going to hit dry spots. Here you need full armor to protect you from the solid ice. Here you need to be tough.
yeah... its not fun to be bombing a hill, hit some chopped up ice and rock and do some cartwheels down it, or even better slide on your butt... i guess its ONE way to shave it.. but i mean, id rather wax...
ha! Mike, we don't even fall when we hit ice, because we are conditioned riders. (we don't really know what to do when we hit actual fluffy powder...but that's a totally different story.)
actually the whole idea of mtn creek is that its a giant bobsled course. You just bomb down the whole mountain, minor speed checks but no real carving. You just race to the bottom for fear of attempting to stop might mean certain death. I think it takes maybe 2 mins max if you go full speed from top to bottom.
yeah i took a nice 4 foot drop onto solid ice onto my back, it tickled a little bit but because im used to east coast conditions i got up and kept on trucking
yes!! when i was learning vanessa told me"whenever you heard the board scraping it means ice." the entire ride down the mountain it was scraping.
bahhh, who believes that Farmers Almanac crap anywhoo....
come chill in maine with us!
i already invited her, shes being gay!
have either of you checked your gmail lately?
yes. i'm too sad to reply :(
hahaha, oh c'mon! I wish I could go. It's either go on one trip, or go all winter (with a season's pass)
yeah, BUT... you have to remember... it could be a crappy winter around these parts... AND if we go snowmobiling... AND i fall again, ull miss that.... and THEN ud kick ur self for the rest of your LIFE
hahahahhaahahhahahaha.... this was SO funny. We should write a journal about that wacky day...each telling our own sides of the story
hahahahhaha, yeah, thats what i need MORE people knowing how retarted i am... lol
we all know already...what's the big deal?
i hope you stub your toe.
i totally understand about your car, that sucks. but look at it this way-you can have 4-5 days of good snow or 7-8 days of crappy snow & ice. you can always get a creek card
