So I used to HATE broaches (correct my spelling if it's wrong) Cuz old ladies would wear HUGE obnoxious ones, just ugly. And teachers would where those corny apple ones or "#1 teacher" pins. But no...

very odd! my parents like to tell this story about a co we had who was from england and he used to correct his wifes pronounciation of everything using a dictionary he brought with him from england.

also, i was wondering about gaza again since it was in the watchtower lesson this week. the official pronouciation is ga'-za (long a) but all the news programs say ga-za (short a). i wonder why?

yeah, I say Gaza, but a bunch of people were saying Gayza. Haha, they're so gay.

ga'-za (long a) it is then. even if non-witnesses look at you funny bc every news report says ga-za (short a).

welll... there's the modern pronunciation, and the biblical pronunciation. i think you should use the right one as appropriate.

I didn't even realize that on Sunday...pronunciation don't matter when you're fingerspelling in sign!
