how did that crappy little ship find them like 8 hours after they started out? If they're real then the island can't be very far from civilization. what is the deal with that living smoke that ...

they found them because they were only 15 miles or so out from the island, and the ship came from the island. i guess with a powered boat they could cover a lot more area in a search pattern.
