Why is there so much echo in the audio? And is that really you? The voice sounds fake for some reason...

I added a soft reverb with a 1/2 delay ( I tired to blend the voices to get more of a duet effect less of a sing along vibe) but, it shouldn't sound so exhaggerated. Yeah it's me being really cheesy. Sounds fake hmmmmmm could it be because I'm not BRITISH lol!?!
