haha, well some bands aren't very good live. like goldfinger so i've heard.
and also you said it was a few years ago, so they may have just been crappy back then or whatever.

Goldfinger is ownage live. Old Goldfinger mostly. Back when they did Skiers Must Perish regularly. I saw them like 10 times.

interesting...having a fav. band and seeing them numerous times live makes me a loser. hmm, we should get a few opinions about that on this site, i wonder what everyone would say.
