wow, i wonder if this means no more philly?! I would be so happy just to hear the words "no more philly" hmm i can't wait to find out where ours is it better not be at Turnersville a.k.a. ...
hahaha... too funny
no it's true, philly is nothing compared to nyc, every thing closes early and is closed on sunday unlike nyc, it's impossible to find even a deli open sunday morning. plus the bums are so annoying in philly. but i do think it's a good place for a convention, plus there's always fresh prince of bel air reruns and at least 3 will smith movies on tv at any given time
hahaha true, true
yeah i think it's just because I love New York and I'm so far from it :(
well it's a good thing you're going to reading then, cuz ya know... reading... come on, serious metropolis right there
yeah. BUSTLING.
haha
Hahaha - I feel the same way. A couple from our hall keeps asking us to go to the Philly art museum with them, and I don't think I can because I miss the Met so much. There's just no place like New York. :(
my mom says there's some pretty great museums in philly though... i'd like to check em out
the Philadelphia museum of art is as good as the met. the Rodin exhibit they have is awesome...and they got those steps that rocky ran up in rocky 1.
my mom says that too. this one's her fave: http://www.collphyphil.org/mutter.asp I haven't been there yet.
I have been to the mutter museum, its actually a very interesting museum, if your into medical things and stuff... It was a studying museum for all those learning about the medical field and for surgeries and stuff, but now its outdated for that, so they just turned it into a straight medical museum...
I was just there yesterday. Cezanne to Picasso exhibit is almost over-you should try to make it there if you haven't yet. I especially liked the Americans in Paris exhibit. (Oh and on a sidenote: I saw Ethan Hawke there with his children. Hello hottie!!)
