What's the explanation for a computer monitor that keeps blinking on and off... sometimes when blinking off, staying off for a prolonged amount of time? Who knows what someone did to this computer...

loose video cable or power cable? Weird screen saver settings set to like 1 min standby mode or something?

if it's not one of these, you have bigger problems.. might need a new video card or monitor.

I've tried a different monitor and same thing happens. So, new video card might be the answer? hmmm. I'm actually trying to type stuff in between blinks. ugggh so annoying.

The screen doesn't just go black. It's goes black, plus doesn't even acknowledge that it's plugged in. Because when the screen is in use the led light goes green... when not in use, but plugged i...
