i actually kind of like that a lot of people are like, oh, baseball is boring to watch, blah blah blah...because it kind of makes it so that everyone who is a baseball fan is passionate about baseb...
this is so dumb. "baseball fans are passionate about their sport." football fans are just as if not more "passionate" about football. that's why people paint their body's their teams color, or get ...
more people dont like baseball...actually i admitted that. i think espn did a survey of sports fans, and like 94% of sports fans were NFL fans, while around 82% were MLB fans. and also, the yankees...
yes but do you notice that all of the "incredible moments" are home runs. it's a tad redundant if you ask me. i mean how many times can you watch a guy hit a ball with a stick.
A triple is the most exciting hit in baseball. They are the rarest extra base hit you can get. There are plenty of exciting moments other than home runs. 1. Jackie Robinson stealing home. 2...
wow, you are truly ignorant. i guess it doesn't take any truly amazing skill to do this...http://youtube.com/watch?v=U-szKE2FXDQ or this...http://youtube.com/watch?v=2H1ycVygWZ8 or this...htt...
Ok... I think any rational sports analyst will tell you hitting 98-100 mph pitches is harder than anything else. Sorry dude. Not saying what football players do is easy, but anything requiring hand-eye coordination is harder than running. Certainly requires more physical exertion to run, but being able to see a spherical object well enough coming in at high velocities and nasty curvatures and then hitting them with a cylinder is extremely difficult. I could train myself to run faster and make quick turns much easier than hitting .400.
But I'm glad you used a Willy Wonka line, because he has a fro too. LOL!
yeah you are right. football doesn't require hand eye coordination. i am wrong about everything. you have changed my mind. i now agree with you about baseball not being a mind numbingly boring sport for homosexuals.
Hey, I said the Q*Back is like a pitcher. Definitely requires hand-eye coordination. But running is considered conditioning, not skill. Being able to dodge people is skillful in a way, but being able to move that quickly depends on how conditioned your body is. Like me for example, with my knee I could never do that. And if I did, I wouldn't be able to move for days.
There is a difference between conditioning and skill.
no no no, you are absolutely right. that makes PERFECT sense. i am now convinced! baseball is harder to play than football.
i just have one question though... if football doesn't require lot's of skill to play, why do you stink at it so bad?
I just said HITTING is harder. The other aspects are similiar to football. Catching, throwing, running, etc.
Hey at least I got hurt like a man playing football. That's why my knee is the way it is. Otherwise I'd be mowing you over.
i'm sure you would.
and yes, the other aspects of baseball are very similar to football. they are almost IDENTICAL!
Although... A baseball does come in much more sharply to a fielder than a football does to a receiver. Haha...
HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! *tears* oooh you! you are such a stitch.
