unless they can show it to you in print in any of the society's publications, it is just their opinion. my sister cong. is like that and they are crazy not to mention seriously unbalanced about things. Like Tina said-hug rapes are bad, (who wants them anyway?)but hugs are an acceptable form of greeting in this area so no one can say you can't do it. They just come naturally!
i know i asked them if there was an article. it's not like we're groping each other.
haha. we used to be friends w/ this guy who would do what we called "the crush and touch" (remember jenn?). He would hug you real tight w/ his arms low and then somehow touch the top of your butt w/ his hands at the end of the hug. that was def hug rape-gross. but we can't let a couple fools ruin it for the rest of us.
no way!! that's not cool. you know what's so cute. my little sister used to do "squeeze your guts out hugs" after the meetings she would stand up on a chair so she could reach people and they would come over to say hi and give her a hug and she'd squeeze em as tight as she could.
ewwwwww, yea. That was gross.
