the young people in our hall were counseled not to hug or kiss on the cheek. the elders told us it was inapropriate. it's really hard for me not to do those things because 1 my culture is like th...
it was from seinfeld. what does this mean, raised more european than american?? how many times have you watched Top of the Pops or Neighbors? Did you cry for days when the Queen Mother died because of all that her position symbolized? Do you think that the Naked Chef's wife is hot? (I add that because I think she is). Have you ever complained because of the value of a Euro?? These are things that are European. Having dinner with the family...this is American.
(ohhh yes how could i forget sein) haha top of the pops-great show! i was glued to the tv when the queen mother died (and when anything happends in europe for that matter) but not because of her position-that would be wrong. i do think the naked chef AND his wife are hot (because they are). i haven't been back to europe since the euro. maybe i should have you come to a family thing and let's see how ameriGAN you think i am.
(yeah seinfeld rules that was the one where elaine had to sit at the kiddie table) anyway are you REALLY european...have you ever worn a uniform to school, have you ever wished you were American, have you ever played on cobblestone streets before having an espresso and a belgian waffle with choclate in a bistro while you waited for the rain to stop?
she must be european...i picked that up from her insulting comment about me and all my broken home friends. (jk...eating dinner as a family must be cool, tho. i'll have to wait until the new system to see what that's like. i'll be a first-generation dinner-together-eater)
i insulted you??
jk = just kidding (i could never take offense...but i am jealous) ;)
no jealousy. it's all good.
yeah well, this system sux...i just realized i'm at least a 4th generation broken home...and i hate it!
(haha and we have kiddie tables at dinner!) no uniforms. i would never wish to be american because patriotism is wrong. my heart belongs in italy where yes i've played on cobblestone streets before having an espresso but it was a sfoiatelli i had while waiting for the rain to stop.
haha i we used to have to sit at the kid's table too. i always wished that i was at the adult table. now that i can sit there, i realize how boring it is and wish i was back at the kids table. i used to love sunday family dinners at my grandparents.
sitting at the big table wasn't so great cus they usually put me on the end by the dog or where two tables meet where it's impossible to keep your dish flat. i miss ma and pa so much. i always think of him when someone overcooks pasta.
