i love Wes Anderson, but uh-oh. he's starting to meander too much for my taste. Anderson's flicks never have plots, by definition, but hopefully there will be a coherant enough story to enjoy. Not just a buncha fun scenic camera set-ups coupled with cluttered vintage set designs and quirky delivery of ironic dialogue. i guess this is Wes Anderson's "road-trip" film and love letter to India. fine and dandy. lets just hope it pays off story-wise.
track record: Bottle Rocket was good. Rushmore was great. The Royal Tenenbaums was perfect. The Life Aquatic was a fun step in the wrong direction. Lets see how The Darjeeling Limited shapes up...
