OK, here's my suggestions: as beachbum said, 1984 is good, I also liked A Clockwork Orange a lot, and then Brave New Wold was interesting. If you've read a little Vonnegut, I suggest reading everyt...

Clockwork Orange's first 50 pages scared the crap out of me, so I stopped reading it. I loved 1984, and Brave New World was pretty good. I LOVE Vonnegut. I've read all of your suggestions except "Mother Night". I'll try that one. Thanks!

I think Brave New World, A Clokwork Orange, and 1984 are like my top three favorite books. 1984..there's just something so chilling-to-the-bone about it and it's so amazing. And A Brave New World..especially considering when it was written..is just pure genius.
