yea... i know that much.. i kinda just feel that if i hadnt mentioned to him that he SHOULD go in and ask for money, he wouldnt have ever brought it up and got himself all worked up and gotten himself fired.
It's possible that your boss was aready planning on letting him go. And, either way, if he was already upset about his pay, he would have gone in and talked about it sooner or later.
I wouldn't worry about it. I would of told the guy the same thing. 'Cause if he was unhappy, he should have asked for more money. He was the one who got himself all worked up anyway. Also, if he is in the process of going to CHUBB, he's probably just getting into doing that type of work, and that job will be experience on his resume for him to get a better job. I would see it as doing him a favor.
plus how hard is it to live on that amount of money, especially if he's living on his own with a family. you can find better jobs than that easily.
Yeah, since Mike is making like 6.50 an hour, this guy must have been working for under minimum wage. So, he should be able to easily make more money at Shop Rite.
