Also as u get older, time goes by so much faster, before u know it ur facing old people stuff like high blood pressure, cancer, etc. Thank GOD (and I mean it) for the hope of the new system.
That is so true, I would never want to see myself in an old peoples home...but thats what the witnesses were saying in the 70's, the greatest thing is that we know either way, if we do get that old or not, that we will still be able to enjoy the new system!
Yea, true. I was probabey your age in the 70s. I never thought I have kids, let alone have any. Now one is almost 21, and she's falling away to the world. =(
Im sorry to hear about that... It's interesting growing up with all witnesses, you never really took the commandment written at 1 Cor. 15:33 so seriously until you have seen loved ones fall away. Friends I had that were close to me, that have turned to the world truly hurt so bad, but the account that Jesus mentioned about the Prodigal Son allows a sense of hope that they may return back. But of course turning to Jehovah for the strength and the endurance to get through these tough times will be the only thing that can sustain us.
