True veagan's don't drink milk, eat eggs, or anything animal related. My sister is a veagan, when she comes home dinner is fun.

actually, i read a vegan book once that said white sugar was bleached with animal bones and that ketchup contained animal blood. I'm not sure if I believe that, but it was in The Vegan Handbook.
