this is a shame, especially since people that turn apostate are just totally doing everything they can to turn as many people away, it's like they're working directly for the demons. also gfs, you...

Good point! As a matter of fact, the main tactic of apostates (and the demons) is to raise doubt in the heart of faithful ones. Which raises some interesting questions: should we be eager to watch the show? What can we gain from watching? If apostates were marching up and down in front of our homes, would we want to go out and see what they have to say? Has this article and accompanying comments been upbuilding for anyone?

I personnaly am not worried about things "getting worse" for us because of some apostates "bashing" the organization on TV. We know that things WILL get worse for us and that Jehovah has the situation firmly in hand. There will still be sheep-like ones to find, the truth is too compelling to be darkened by bad publicity.

Hrm thats very true, only those that dont have a firm belief in the truth might waiver :)

Thats what Im saying Magnum, thanks for bringing that out. Obviously the truth is compelling and powerful, but for those split familes (one spouse a beliver, the other isnt) what will their spouse think. Thats where Im going with this thing. It just doesnt make things easier for us. But hey, what is these days?

yup that's true, but it's also not the first time apostates have "taken it to the streets" so to speak. they do radio shows and television JW bashing all the time, not to mention the internet.

the internet whats that?

i was thinking that myself actually, because apostates entire focus is not to offer anything to anyone, but to try to weaken the faith of others. They are not holding out anything that they percieve to be truth, but are trying to cloud and confuse the minds of those who are weak.
