when i listen to rap it's because it's got a great beat, it's comical, or it's got a great flow. i just never found these in eminem. to each his own, but as mel knows "we don't play that in my car" lol
i think he's just for anger. like you gotta be in a bad mood to listen to most of his stuff.

okay, hands down: eminem's flow is GREAT. he just needs to do some work with the Neptunes and he'd be unstoppable. his flows make perfect sense and are nearly conversational, unlike SO many rappers. look at a lyric sheet for ludacris and then look at a lyric sheet for eminem. luda is awesome and hilarious, but 1/3 of each song is spent asking "what did he just say" or "what does he mean by that?" and you'll see that Eminem puts together some complicated yet completely coherant stuff, even if it is a lil bitter and personal to the point of "just the shut the heck up." his next step should be to do some party anthems and songs about being RICH like all the other rappers! i'm not even much of a fan, but i do know this much.
You gotta be kidding. I think "Lose Yourself" has to be the best rap song I've ever heard. I just wish he didn't swear so much.

how can you say "nah" to someones own opinion? i work with a guy that will object to everyones opinions. ill be like " oh I love eggplant" and he'll be all "no tomatoes are better"
