please define shallow pop-rock...cuz in my opinion, a song doesn't have to tackle deep emotional issues for me to enjoy it. i mean, if someone wants to write a song with stupid lyrics, let them. if the world is rid of shallow pop rock someday, will you wage warfare against country? where will the hate end?

nah, it's just bands like good charlotte & what not strike me as extremely corney & their focus seems to be more in their image than in any art in their music....but THAT'S just my opinion....so isssss all good
