Actually, Legolas sails over the sea when Aragorn finally dies, and with him goes Gimli soo, perhaps they allowed the fellowship as well?

Oh, yeah. I think that's because Legolas and Gimli had become inseparable at that point.

Yeah..I don't know what that is all about. Actually, it's funny cause for people who don't read the books they don't learn about the whole Elves hating Dwarves so they don't get why them being such good friends is special.
