well, u gota realize different generations are naturally attracted to different things..sure, u might like SOME contemporary stuff...but for the most part, stuff coming out now is gonna have a different vibe than what kids of your generation were into, so it's not gonna be as appealing to you...when elvis was out, parents thought he was the devil, he was like the equivalent of marylin manson to people back then..lol..the generation gap does wonders, it's amazing

theres this newish band out called the Darkness, I hear they sound alot like the genre of music I grew up to cept much MORE explicit. I would probably like them if i was not a JW, from what I've read they just too...satanic sounding (ie Black Sabbath-like)(but worse)
