Peter Jackson is hanging by a thread with me over what he did to my boy Faramir in the Two Towers. If he doesn't get Return of the King right I don't know if I'll ever watch one of his movies again.

the changes in the film adaptation don't bother me really, especially after watching the interviews with the writers. they did what they could. and it is an adaptation, not a direct word for word m...

I definitely agree that the movies are great on their own terms. They just disappoint me when I compare them with the books. And the Faramir thing really bugs me because he's probably my favorite of the human characters, and PJ went and turned him into a clone of Boromir.

did you see the Extended Edition? Faramir is saved a slight bit by it.

Not yet. My dad got me the gift set, but I haven't had a chance to pop it in the DVD player yet. I'll definitely be watching it on the 15th, though.
