rocksupastar's DJ antics dominated this thread, with rapid-fire song mentions and enthusiastic punctuation. A notable moment was when he declared, "WOOHOOO PWND YOU NOOBS!" after switching to Fall Out Boy, prompting flomojopoanode to respond, "lol, this song is not bad at all." The thread's eclectic mix of artists, from Bob Marley to Arctic Monkeys, also reflected the diverse tastes of the eZabel community...

Page 1 of 4Wait is this a REAL song because it seems more like satire. In any case I don't hear where it sounds like English until OooolRight = Alright.
I want to re-do this SO bad, I think it'd be fun and the outtakes well.. obviously ridiculous XD

The new Say Anything album! Fun album, a little poppier and hookier than their previous efforts, but with all of Max's trademark snide and witty lyricism.

MGMT--Kids
I'm digging two cover songs right now: The Noisettes - When You Were Young and KT Tunstall - I Want You Back
Passion Pit - Little Secrets
I haven't listened to that yet, but my friend's girlfriend recommends it. I'll check it out.
awesome
I've recently discovered a really good band called El Goodo. They have a 60s psychedelic feel. Kind of country in a way, like in the Mojave 3 sense (if that means anything to anybody).
Anika Paris - Am I Losing You
BT - This Binary Universe
Cold Play - Warning Sign
Hmmm not quite sure why I separated that. 'Coldplay'
that's really cool! it's funny, the second guy there, the one playing guitar and says "the mother of all funk chords" is the guy from nextlevelguitar.com, I'm a member and i've been taking his online lessons.

Goo Goo Dolls - Dizzy Up the Girl

Traveling Wilburys. I missed out on their stuff when it was originally released. A bunch of artists I like as individuals cutting tracks together. Very Valenti family music.

The Fratellis -- Costello Music, This is a perfect summer album
Fratelli means brothers in italian.

They are fun!
Red Light Cinema - an indie band from warwick, really good
O.A.R. Love and Memories
oh man, i saw o.a.r in phillie once...worst concert i have ever been to. their fans were all a bunch of college frat boys, getting smashed, and pissing all over themselves. and the music sucked.
Really? MAN Lex!!! You totally rained on my parade I was already to see them they have some other really great songs. But um yeaaah not so keen on the pissing scene.
Generally frowned upon =/
i went to go see jack's mannequin open for them once and the OAR crowd was really bad. they were all drunk frat boys. i saw one individual stumble down a ravine and into a large set of bushes and another walked smack into a port-a-john and fell down. miller lite and keystone cans were everywhere. frat boys like really crappy beer.
yeah i was also at that concert. yep all their fans were drunk college kids. i don't think their music was all that bad but that kind of turned me off of them. plus they seemed really self involved, the lead singer kept quoting his own lyrics in between songs.
what does OAR stand for?
It's Not Over - Daughtry
Awesome new song! Lie to Me by 12 Stones
for some reason i cannot stop listenging to lip gloss- lil mama
damien rice - delicate
saves the day "shoulder to the wheel"
love this song!
I just listened to clips of Strung Out, cuz you guys like to proclaim how good they are. Well, I think I'm going to jump out my living room window now. Haha... The music is just loud. Not my cup of tea. Maybe they have some songs that are better somewhere, but all I pictured was a bunch of guys head banging and people beating each other up in a crowd as these guys play. LOL!
yeah...well you suck.
Or maybe... Just maybe... Strung Out sucks... ;oP
dude, you listened to "a clip." you didn't even listen to a whole song.
Not my type of music. In my opinion it sucks. Music should have some harmony. I don't feel it with this stuff. If you do, so be it. My genre of music is hard, classic, alternative, and 80's rock. Punk rock is not good to me. The clip was enough for me.
For me it's the tone of Punk rock. It's not that these guys aren't musically talented.
Haha, was it hard for you to admit that?
Yes, they waste their talent playing crap. Haha...
Ok, here's two classic Strung Out songs in their entirety.
Give them a listen. Yes, they're fast. But very similar to the genres that you like (whether you'd like to admit that or not, hehe).
Strung Out - Rotten Apple
Strung Out - The Exhumation of Virginia Madison
hey man, strung out IS good. they're just not your cup of tea. but rush....um yeah...the only peeps i've even known to like them were addicted to some sort of drug. LOL
Hey man, pass the bong... LOL!
what? Rush is awesome.
i was teasing him.
oh so you're a druggie. gotcha!
Coke is pretty popular in SoCal.

Everyday Glory - Rush
Happy now! ;oP
\m/ ROCK ON \m/
Dreamline - Rush
yo, brosiff, do you listen to anything besides rush.
Sure. I just like to torture you.
torture me? you're torturing yourself. i just feel bad for you. there is so much great music out there, and you are still stuck in the 80's.
I'm sure there is, I just don't bother to get all into it. Rush just happens to be one of my favorite groups.
