1) How is Jack going to get involved in everything, if he's a wanted criminal who's gon awol??
2) Are the Chinese still really ticked at the US? What are they going to do?
3) How much time has passed since last season? (If enough time has passed...)Is there a new president?
4) Will we see some of our old favorite characters this year? (Tony, Michelle, Baruce (okay, he's not a favorite, he's just a whiny kid) or any one else who was cool.

It doesnt begin soon enough... Im going through withdrawls... I AM JACK BAUER!! ....
Well, now that I'm finally finished, I can see I wasn't too far off with this thought. I knew that it would factor in!

Only 18 months had passed, and unfortunately the same president was in office. In the end, though, I'm glad he was toasted.
3) How much time has passed since last season? (If enough time has passed...)Is there a new president?
This season saw the end of a lot of our old favorite characters. :( Tony and Michelle, I will miss you. Edgar, you too. :( But we got to see Chloe a lot better, maybe (I dare say) even come to like her. I liked her ex, too. Morris is definitely a cool character. I'm glad Aaron didn't die.
4) Will we see some of our old favorite characters this year? (Tony, Michelle or any one else who was cool.)
Final thoughts: Great season, and great setup for next season! Will we see the rise of a new hero to come rescue Jack? Will we see an old hero come back? Does Jack even need a hero?

ugh, that whole part when the officer inside the sub had to slit that guys throat, and jack had to walk him thru it! that grossed me out!
oh, and honestly, i fee just a little bit bad for pres. logan, even though i cant stand him, he was way harshly betrayed by his wifey, when he thought she had forgiven him. but then again, he did SLAP her! crazy!~

every time i meet a jack bauer fan, it's like having an instant friend
last week i was wondering to myself, when Chloe tazered that guy, "how is she getting online?" I found that odd. We have wireless data cards at my job, and they're totally slow. Yet we sell a ton of them. But she was on a fast connection, and if there was wi-fi, it was totally unencrypyted packets.
she probably just hacked the hotel's wireless. it was probably a static WEP key... easy!
haha.. i'm saying that like she actually had to do it. i think it's funny how jack's always like "we have to land this plane!!" or something like that and the other person's like "we can't! there's not enough runway!!" and he's like "JUST DO IT!!!! NOW!!!!" and they're like "okay!!"

why doesnt everyone love 24 as much as lost? what the heck, the comment ratio is attrocious. anyways, 24, not bad last night, but i REALLY hated that lame james bond-ish music towards the end, it made it kind of corney.

yeah. I noticed the music too. I can't remember what it sounded like, but at the time I thought it was kinda gimmicky. Jack is the man with the plan. Call the cops on yourself so they'll get into a fight with the guys hunting you down. amazing. pretty crazy that the bank manager died. I think the military patrol killed him too, not the mercenaries...
there are more 24 fand than Lost fans here. 24 isn't a mystery the way Lost is. it's more of a suspense thriller. Lost has a lotta weird little things that need to be . . . broken down.

what amazes me about this show, is, you always think they're not giong to be able to make another 10 shows after, what seems like, the impending (?) threat is gone, but they some how manage to do it, and keep you in suspense the whole time!
so......WHO THINKS JACK IS DEAD??? i watched an interview w/ kiefer on the today show & he said, he could die in this season, that "all things are possible". i think he's alive, because how can jack bauer be killed??? what do you think??
Good, good episode. Desmond from Lost played that German spy. Very cool ep. Sometimes things DO go Jack's way for fifteen minutes or so. He made crap happen today. And now he's gonna blow away Audrey Raines!
how crazy was 24 last night! the last scene was craaaaazy! and EDGAR! aw, i loved him! next week looks insane too. i really like the first lady, i think i've agreed w/ all of what she's said.

Bean was right. She thought that if she was in the limo the prez would divert the motorcade. BUT when the prez decided he wasn't gonna stop the motorcade he said they needed to play up the fact that she was present during the attack, to make it unlikely that anyone would suspect him of having prior knowledge of the attack. Logan is so screwed. I wouldn't be surprised if his pal, Mike, in a fit of frustration, assassinates him right there in the oval office. "that's for making me get down pray with you, you idiot!"

I definitely thought either the president or mike would go that route, but I wasn't convinced the first lady was a martyr, and I think I was right, because she was pretty nervous at the end. she assumed her husband would intervene.
Does the president really deal with this stuff? And is the first lady really THAT involved? C'monnn. And as for TV assassins: Target Practice! AND WHATEVER HAPPENED TO SNIPING?! Still I liked the episode a lot. The writing is razor sharp. The pacing is effective and the action is pretty hardcore. Good times.
An aside: Sean Astin is out of his league. He brings the series down. He looks silly making all those executive decisions. To top that off--the lil plot with his crackhead sister is laughable.

so I just watched last monday's 24. It was mostly boring, but then in the end it got really good!!! Pretty cool stuff! I'm excited for tonight's. Who wants to come over and watch it?!
dude it wasn't boring! it was good, they actually developed the characters - i enjoyed seeing lynn in action, i think he's a really good character with good instincts and stuff.

I watched it tonight for the first time. I thought it was really good. Kinda predictable in some spots, but it did a good job of setting up a really gripping story. I liked when Cummings was airing the conspiracy to the Prez. "I am a patroit!" VERY cool scene. I hated Jack Bauer trying to scare Cummings into spilling the location of the cannisters. "You've read my file, you know I'll start with your right eye..." Oh shut up. I thought that was a bad chunk of the same stuff that this show is known for. Actually, I liked ALL the scenes that DIDN'T have Jack in it. I'll keep watching though. It's still an entertaining show. Also I love that it's running week after week. *hops aboard bandwagon*

I don't think it was out of hand or anything. I think it will play into the story later on as we all should realize by now. We needed to know what kind of relationship he has with stinky's mom (derrick's mom). Oi, I wish he weren't in the picture. But at last he seemed to respect Jack more than ever before.

my brother absolutely loves this show...austin & i had never watched it, but after all the good reviews, we wanted to check it out...so we rented season 1...it is AMAZING!!! absolutely addicting...my husband & i have watched more tv these past few days than we usually do in like a month! haha but it is so good...i'm really happy we're watching it on DVD...there would be NO WAY i'd be able to hold off a whole week to find out what happens!!! so crazy! i love it!
