yeah. the cloud/cerberus security system seems to have judged ecko. i wonder if it's because he had some trouble with the police recently.
yeah, exactly, he was judged. Eko's first encounter with cerberus was pretty cool. it read him and saw the conflict and indecision in his life. it came back and said, "REPENT!" Eko was unrepentant, proudly rationalizing his sins. cerberus said "you have chosen... poorly." SMASHHH! dead.
i was thinking this from the beginning-- when Locke's faith breaking, Eko arrived with strong faith. i thought maybe Locke's character would become some kind of villian and Eko would proceed as the good faith-man, but it's clear now that Eko's character was used just to bring Locke's faith back around.
this also brings back the theme of "good vs. evil" remember the lists? we have a lot to learn still.

saw the last 5 minutes last night - apparently new characters were introduced?! awesome. And ... Desmond was very jesus-like at the end. weird. ANd what he foretells the future? huh?

Me & Austin have had a couple discussions about who is more bad asssk Sayid or jack bauer...first i said jack, but i think it's sayid.
Its definitely Jack Bauer... If Jack Bauer were there on the island he would have shot every "Other" in the leg by now to get answers from them... Along with that, he would have broken some part of Ben's anatomy to make him talk and he would have made sure that there would have been no relief for him. AND if Jack was there he would have contacted Chloe already and have gotten a CTU unit on the island, just in enough time to save the world once again from immenent danger... All that in one day... take that Sayid!!!
sayid is awesome and all, but Jack would wreck ANYONE on that island. He'd kill all the others and make a hang glider from their skin and bones and fly off that island. all within-- you guessed it-- 24 hours.
I loved the part with Ben showing Jack the clip of the Red Sox winning the World Series... It's always good to see the Red Sox win and the Yankees not being mentioned.
I guess the whole Red Sox winning the world series helped the writers to add another interesting link to Season 1's quote - "Thats why the Red Sox dont win"... now that the Red Sox did win, Jack may just go along with Ben...

I really, really liked this second episode. Awesome.
That whole Sawyer/Kate thing was awesome.
They've finally tarnished Sun as a cheater. Made me kinda mad, because everyone I know was saying that she did cheat and I said "NOOOO! Not Sun!" And she went and proved me wrong with that bald dude. Sun shooting that OTHER chick is gonna cause some real problems.
Sayid is the man, as always. Risking life and limb to get stuff done. I really thought he was putting everyone in danger to start that fire and I'm like "DUH!" But he came through like the tough guy he is and planned to kill some OTHERS. I figured he would picked off from the boat with that rifle he had, but nah. Kinda boring.
Ben Linus showing Jack that tape was CRAZY! He's been on that island all his life? They have access to the outside world? Wow. I wonder if Jack will bite at the oppurtunity set before him. If it's real. I'm totally intrigued again.

Interesting thought I read online about Ben's last name: Linus in Greek Mythology was the son of Apollo and was abandon on a hillside (island) by his mother. He was eventually killed and eaten by dogs.

please! kate knew she couldn't escape those whackjobs on their turf. after a monkey gets shocked a few times it stops misbehaving.
as for jack-- he was desperate and wasn't about to try to push past Benry to get anywhere. he saw a hatch. and hatches mean OUT. lil doors with no wheels don't mean out. hatch doors with wheel seals do.

least now we know where they kept the polar bears. and kate looked really pathetic munching that fish cookie.
so just a lil weird info. we got the season 2 discs and they have this game with all the characters pictures with wires linking them all together in different ways. and there were two links that i thought were awkward.
jacks wife was the girl in the car with shannon's dad in the accident that the father died from. and then extremely awkward was one of the wires running away from jack's dad went to this fuzzy screen with slight movement behind it that was representative of the others. so he does have somethign going down that's a bit scheeming. but after this past episode i still ccant figure it out.
