Does anyone else watch Scrubs? I've been watching since the beginning of the series. I really like it, and I think it's definitely one of the most underrated shows on TV. I don't really hear many of my friends talk about it. I love it though. I heard that this season, season 6, will be the last. That's really unfortunate. I'll miss it. It's too bad NBC always has to jerk around shows like this. Last year, it didn't start until January, and this year Nov 30 is the premiere. Office fans will argue, but I think it's their best show, and I like the Office a lot too. I hope they can keep it around a few more years.

i'm trying to find a clip and i can't find it... it's one where jd is talking to kim on the phone and is like "i'm sending you a pic of my abs" and then makes keith take off his shirt so he can take a pic of keith's abs... then elliot's like "keith you can't let people take pictures of your body!" and then they flash back to a time jd was taking a pic of keith in a grungy bus station bathroom....
the best minute you can spend today:
i love when he dances
turk rules
Season 5 Episode 17:
J.D.: Zip it! I am so gee darned pissed right now. I was okay when you kept me at arm's length because everyone said that was just Cox, that's how he operates, and I believed them. Now I walk in on this, this... bi-racial love fest! You know what? I hate to do it but I'm giving you back the pencil. That's right, the pencil you gave me on my third day of work. You handed it off to me like a tiny yellow baton, but you were trying to say to me "JD you are the new me. You, JD, are my mentee. You, are my son."
"bi-racial love fest" hahaha!
haha "what pencil"
So amazing. Rex's face after the love-fest comment?
And I love Jordan and Elliot together.
This song has been stuck in my head all day
i have been watching scrubs so much lately that it has infiltrated my dreams, hahaha
also, we were watching some of hte bonus features and apparently it's filmed in a real hospital in Hollywood soooooooooooo we have to find it
Scrubs is filmed on location at the North Hollywood Medical Center ( 34°9′28.86″N, 118°24′31.22″W), a real decommissioned hospital located at 12629 Riverside Drive in the North Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS going thereeeeeeeeeee
man i love this show
we have been renting these from the blockbuster online thingie - one after another woot woot woot and it's been great .. .I LOVE THIS SHOw
right now I am Elliot Reed circa season 2
haha
she is so crazy and i think i identify with her the most ...
yeah this show is great. i'm up to halfway through season 6. i think season 6 is the weakest season though, hopefully this season will be better. if zach braff leaves the show they should just end it
yeah i've been catching the season 6 repeats on comedy central... and it's so weird to go to that after watching seasons 1-2-3 - they seem a little more "routine" in season 6, i duno
also last night was the funniest episode, my goodness, i cracked up outloud more times than ever hahaha.. it was the one when Kelso's car gets hit by the woman that just had brain surgery... and the Janitor parts were the funniest with him doing career day as a doctor... and there were just so many hilarious parts... and i don't usually laugh outloud i just say "that's so funny"
ha
I say "that's so funny" a lot more than I usually laugh too.
Except when watching Scrubs.
"I miss you so much, it hurts sometimes."
"come in brown bear, come in brown bear"
I recently purchased season five and I'm almost done watching it.
I love Elliot's weird brand of revenge: taking out the egg yoke from the eggs and the apple-goodness from the apples. Also, when she throws the raccoon into the shower? Amazing.
I love Elliot!! How many times do I say "wow she is SO crazy" while watching scrubs? Too many to count.
I kind of feel as crazy as her while doing my student teaching right now. Probably not a good thing to relate to. I need to go get an edgy haircut.
Takes a while to load but I think we all know it's worth it:
http://www.thetoddtime.com/
Or it will be when it has more stuff..I just got really excited by the web address.
This is supposed to be the video that's playing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHd_lkqhQhE
Beware...banana hammocks.
hahahaha... what a strange guy. i like the tan lines
They're pretty hott. My eyes were fixated on them.
Carla: "Is that ugly robot shooting a laser beam into the crib?"
Turk: "That robot is Optimus Prime and I don't think he'd appreciate you calling him ugly."
same episode
carla: j.d. you think he's kidding last thanksgiving i walked in on turk and his mom cuddling.
--j.d. in head.(turk is very protective of his mom)
turk: carla you're just mad because your mom is dead.
So much better than me quoting it wrong! :)
This is now one of my favorite forum's with the Youtube videos, I could watch these over and over again...
This is a long one... and for you Italians out there, you will enjoy the Italian subtitles:
i love the slapstick in this show. the third one or so, where he slides over the car was awesome in the show. my brother and i were cracking up so bad when we saw that for the first time. he yells, tallyhoooooooooo
This is one of my favorite scenes from season four. Sammy, Ben and I just kept rewinding to watch it:
That was pretty good. I should start watching this show.
You will never regret it...
My problem is, I can never watch a show regularly. I always have too much going on.
I never watch TV. I am, however, in the middle of purchasing all the seasons and spend my weekends watching Scrubs as much as possibly lately. It's the good life.
SNAP OUT OF IT I DON'T HAVE GAY JUNGLE FEVER!!
ABORT ABORT!! hahahaha
Good find!! The background music is just great.
I want to play hide the saltine!
I love them all dancing, though they didn't have the time Elliot dances right into a wall.
"DO YOU SEE WHAT YOU GET, CARLA?! DO YOU SEE WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU MESS WITH A WARRIOR!?"
HAHAHA Im so glad you picked up on that line, that is one of my favorite lines in the show...
mine too.
This show is great, here is one of my favorite scenes:
lol... i needed that laugh
and ... my hero.. Jordan
seriously i cannot pick a favorite character from this show
Jordan is so my hero too.
"The baby is kicking me."
"Well, can you blame him?"
The best of The Todd
Juicy, you get an award for the best find ever.
The conversation with Elliot? About putting a bell around him, I love it:
"All I heard was Lesbian."
And hammock up? So great!
YES!!! Best of the Janitor
I LOVE THE JANITORRRRRRr
Me too!! I love watching him try and get blonde doctor.
my little sister gary told me the other day how she loves janitor and i was like, "why are you so insane?"
yeah I love him. And the funny thing is he reminds me of my brother, the way he talks and the stuff he says and even his facial expressions a little.
wow, yeah, i can see it
yeah!
How can you not love the janitor? I mean, sure I love Dr. Cox more (Coxy!) but the Janitor is pretty high up there on my list.
i finally saw the whole episode, the one where the 3 transplant patients died
oh my goodness
when they said rabies i literally GASPED
i always wanted to see that whole episode and i always seem to see the one AFTER when dr. Cox loses it, OR miss the end of the episode with the 3 patients.
yeah that one was really sad
"i just didn't know what to say"
"how about - i think there's something living in my uterus"
Awesome! Benny just told me about this (didn't catch this one). So amazing.
funnily enough i had the exact same conversation with someone Friday night
and I used that quote
followed by quickly saying "that's a quote from Scrubs, i'm not a jerk" hahah
"That's so funny."
"Why dont you ever laugh! All you say is, 'that's so funny'"
Turk - "JD your a jerk"
JD- "Well, look she can cry, why cant she laugh?"
ever notice in scrubs they say the name Jehovah a lot? i heard it in at least 3 episodes, including turk's mom supposedly is a witness. and in a repeat i saw last night dr. cox was refusing to treat a witness at first because she refused a blood transfusion. strange
yes!!! and he says something like, "with jehovah as my witness i will not treat this patient or kiss my son." and then the elevator door opens behind him so he can escape.i thought it was pretty funny. yeah but i've never seen an episode where turk's mom is present.
I've seen Turk's mom a bunch of times, I think they dropped the whole notion that she's a witness, I've never heard it mentioned again.
yeah i think so too, but in the 2nd episode of season one, elliot says something like "well it's not like i'm going door to door like some crazy Jehovah's Witness" and then turns out turk's mom is one.
Well, first Matt, Im glad I wasnt the only one up at 11:30 last night watching that episode... haha and your right it is the first season where Elliot said "well it's not like i'm going door to door like some crazy Jehovah's Witness" and Turk turns to her and says, "My mom is a Jehovah's Witness"...
If Sacred Heart is such a good hospital, they would be able to perform Bloodless Surgery... I think Kelso should open up his wallet and get some surgeons in there that can do that, instead of spending money on that full body exam he was offering... haha
I also thought her explanation was interesting on why she would not accept a blood transfusion. Did you catch that?
haha... yeah that actress wasn't very good. but she said something like "we don't believe that blood should be passed from person to person" or something
Dr. Cox: I don't know if they taught you this in the land of fairies and puppy-dog tails, where you obviously, if not grew up then at least spent most of your summers, but you're in the real world now. Nnnnn-kay?
Favorite:
J.D.: Stick to the truth and you can't get hurt, that's my philosophy.
Dr. Cox: You didn't sleep with her did ya?
J.D.: God, no!
J.D.'s Narration: Philosophy is tricky.
dr cox: okay newbie you take this one
dorian: ok mr. steel. first name: man of
dr. cox: ok you're done
I <3 Dr. Cox.
Benny bought me seasons 1 and 2 yesterday! I'm so in love!!
Congrats!! You will love it!!
I feel like I had a baby or something! "Congrats!"
"Good newbie."
"My heart hates uggos."
i really like this show. its not my favorite but i really really like it. here's my favorites in this order:
STELLA
Arrested Development
the office
Scrubs
24
Family Guy still makes the list even though its nowhere near as funny as it used to be
there's so much going on with the people from stella and the state: http://www.the-state.com/
i just bought season 1 of the state on itunes for 10 bucks the other day!
scrubs has gone up on this list since then...
So what does the new list look like now?
STELLA - only 10 episodes though....
Scrubs
Arrested Development
Family Guy
This show is pure comical genius. I have to admit that while I'm not a big fan of brendon Frasier, the second episode he is in, I believe in the second season, is such a good episode.
It was in the third season
did i say this yet... last week's episode with the janitor going away on a "janitor cruise"
oh man
this is the one where JD fainted while he "poops"
anyway by the end of the episode it all tied together so amazingly that i was laughing quite loud
and i'm usually an "on the inside" kind of laugher
I'm a laugh on the inside kind of person too.
Did you ever see the ones with Mandy Moore? "That's so funny."
its sad because literally every time i hear anybody say "that's so funny." all i can think is "that's so annoying". because it truly is.
I know!! Ben and I do it to each other all the time now, though. Especially since I realized I'm more of an "inside" laugher.
i do this sometimes. MOST times i'll laugh, but sometimes i'm just not in the mood and i'll be with people and they're all horsing around and like "isn't that funny? why aren't you laughing?!" and i'm forced to say "no, yeah, that's funny. yeah, that's really funny." then i think of mandy moore, which isn't necessarily a bad thing...
i just saw the episode "my screwup" the other day, guest starring brendan fraser. it was really really good. very good. if you see just one episode of this show, see this one.
Was that the one in season 2??
i'm not sure, but it has a crazy dramatic twist at the end. very sad ending, but makes you want to watch it again
Is that when he was diagnosed with lukemia?
yeah and you find out at the end that he actually died
Yeah awsome episode.
Yeah this is probably one of the more deeper episodes but it was done really well and got you thinking...
actually i just realized you are thinking of a different episode. the one where he was diagnosed was an earlier episode. the one where he dies is a later season
Yeah I remember that one, that was in season 3... and half way through the episode after he died Dr. Cox became a work-a-holic trying not to think about the death of his friend . This episode was done so well.
yeah that's the one, i liked it
I just caught this episode yesterday! So well done..and very upsetting!
yeah... 6th sense-ish
yeah i watched it last night too. so sad. and i was psyched cuz it was this episode everybody talked about. poor dr. cox.
this was on the other day and hiro from heroe's was one of the lab technicians.
Yeah, and he wears the same glasses in both shows... hmmm
As seen in the latest episode, wow, just wow.
i was gonna say i'm always imparital to anything involving todd because he's just so funny.
this show is so great. It's been on more lately like reruns at 11:00 p.m. I think on Fox or something, and also comedy central, and i've been finally catching the new episodes on thursdays - SO GOOD
I love this show all the characters are amazingly developed I really can't pick a favorite
Yeah, the reruns are on at 11:30pm on Fox... Elliot is the best on the show hands down!
Okay, I never watch TV ever but I caught the Scrubs marathon yesterday on Comedy Central. So great!! I absolutely love this show. Benny and I are going to start buying the seasons so we can watch the whole thing.
Awesome!! Someone else converted to the show!!! Its great you will love it... I just got seasons 1-4 and I cant stop watching them... great comedy, I think it goes down as being one of the funniest of all time...
Not only that. It's CONSISTANTLY funny. Every episode.
I'm really excited about it! There are so few that I enjoy on TV lately (That 70s Show being my only really love) but this is just enjoyable TV.
i just started taping this show and watching it. so far it's pretty good, not as good as arrested development
but what is really?
yeah this show is hilarious, but i never know when it's on and i always seem to miss it. But when i do catch it it's sooooo funny
wait, did they officially announce the end? i heard zach braff interview the other day and he was saying the show might not end but just that this is his last season. and that the show still might go on without him. i dont understand how it could cuz he's the best part. ilove it. and now they're showing it on comedy central so i can catch up with all the old ones i missed.
if braff leaves, it should be done. it wont be any good without him, or any of the main cast, really.
that stinks... i think they're trying to replace him with that other guy. not nearly as funny
new info: i was reading a magazine and zach braff was being interviewed in it and he said he think he's gonna stay. still not sure but probably staying for one more season. i don't really know anymore.
I don't want no scrubs, a scrub is a guy
I didn't get into it til recently. It's SUPER funny, SUPER clever. It's a sure bet.
Scrubs is a great show - I have also watched it from the beginning. It's one of the few shows that makes my wife laugh out loud. I wish it wasn't ending.
i've never watched it, i'll have to check it out
The show is great.... so funny, I have been catching up on the old episodes on Youtube... When I watch them at work I have to watch myself because I sometimes would let out this laugh because the show is histerical!
