I don't want to go into the hater category but since the game against the texans i'm not as enthused. He couldn't do anything with just toomer. He needs shockey to get YAC and Burress to bail him out by jumping and fighting for the ball. I think it just shows he's sloppy now and will improve. bledsoe is good but old. eli will be beter than him this year. mcnabb is to beat up. he is good, but has no good recievers. i think the eagles will be last in the division. they had no team last year, and havn't done to much in the offseason to improve. plus, they couldn't win a super bowl with T.O. they will not win one without him.
the cowboy's picked up T.O. who is an amazing reciever. but he cannot get along with anybody. so i would not be surprised if he causes problems for them. they would still be decent even without him though. he was a low risk pickup for them.
last year the giants won the division with no linebackers, and and an O line that was injured, and forced to use a lot of backups, and switch positions. and tiki still had the second most yards from scrimmage in history.
true, sam madison is not what he used to be, but he is still a pro bowler. the rest of our secondary is solid. will demps should be good, and gibril wilson has proven himself as a good safety. webster is young, and showed potential last year. michael strahan, unlike the freak, is still productive. him and osi led the league in sacks last year. and they have two other good pass rushers, justin tuck, and mathias kiwanuka. yes, they did lose a good D tackel, but they have good backups such as fred robbins, and drafted one in the third round. plus, lavaar arrington wasn't released. he was a free agent.and now that he is on the giants he will be playing on the strong side, were he played for his three straight pro bowl seasons. and now that antonio pierce is healthy, he will have other linebackers around him to pick up the slack. plus you have to remember that pierce and arrington have a chemistry together. they played together on the redskins for a few seasons. arrington's talent is undeniable.
Eli did not do well toward the end of the year, but he was extremely clutch, and did lead them to a division championship. he can scrammble better than most QB's and has a great arm. the giants are also just as or more stacked than any offense in the NFL. shockey is one of the best in the league, tiki is one of the best, and buress and toomer score a lot, and now that they have a good, fast third reciever that can actually catch, in sinorice moss, things will open up even more for the bigger guys.

You wont see true results from Eli untill the season after this one. He will be competive, but the playoff run wont happen ths year. Youll make it but lose the first game. If you read the post game interviews with the coachs when Dmac is healthy he is a D cordinators nightmare. I am still laughing at Eli is a good scrambler. Mcnabb by far is the best Qb in the NFC east and in the top 5 overall around the league. Now where in the top is debatable . I will say the top two are Tom Brady 1, Payton 2.
This divsion will be close this year. Its gonna be the toughest Division in football to predict. Any team can win in this division. Its gonna come down to who has the best defnse and QB play and I belive the Eagles will. I hate picking them to win the NFC east beacuse it makes me sound like a homer. We had the best draft in the league this year. Thats not me talking thats many of the countrys sports writers. We have the same core that won multiple divsion titles. See what you doing here is simple . You think the eagles will have the same year as last year. You know even though they lost their starting running back for the year and QB. A starting CB and saftey. Even though TO wasnt injured its still a loss, We lost a starting left tackle and center. Any team would not surive that. Now remember we lost the super bowl the year before. Something like the last 11 super bowl losers didnt make the playoffs the next year. So its a pattern. But the year after they didnt make the playoffs they all come back strong. Like for example the carolina panthers remember them. They made it to the nfc champioship game and beating the giants on the way.

now look at new york's defense. our d line is stacked, with strahan osi, we have a bunch of good d tackles fighting fot the starting position, justin tuck, and kiwanuka. our linebackers are stacked. we have antonio pierce who is awesome, lavaar arrington who is amazing, and brandon short, and carlos emmons, who are not super stars by any means, but are solid players. we have so much depth at d line and linbacker. our corners are all pretty solid. sam madison has proven himself to be good. mcquarters has proven himself, and corey webster is an up and coming good corner. gibril wilson is awesome. and will demps is a solid proven safety. and we have lots of depth behind these positions as well.

Santanio holmes is a draft pick that gets arrested he still has to porve himself as a pro and stay out of jail before you can say hes an asset to the team. David tyree is your best special teams threat I was impressed with him many times last year.

Thats ok cause hes gonna get better every year . But for a quaterback to make an impact meaning playoff run and with his paticular style he needs a couple more years develop.

Your Dline was great last year phenominal. Heres the thing you guys lost some Dtackles in the off season. Two good D tackles are the key to the whole defense. Those holes havent been replaced . Linebacking is better than last year deffineltly and healthier.

Dmac is the best Qb in the NFC . Remember lets not be haters here look up the numbers and which QB has the best winning precentage in the past 6 years including playoffs. I am not saying Mcnabb is better than Payton By Far. BUt come playoff time Compare thier postseason Stats. I have a hard time not getting Payton mixed up with Jim Sorgi in the postseason.
Last year the giants sturggled with a half beaten injured egales defense. The last game we played you guys in you just beat us by a feild goal. We had Mike Mchanon at QB Ryan Moats at RB and no Brian Westbrook.
Half of our defnese was gone for the year . Two strating Corner backs and one of our safteys. When healthy our defense is one of best In the NFC Overall Our defnese is the best in the Nfc East no Doubt about it.
Our Secondary when healthy and it usually is considered the best Secondary in football . They are all pro Bowlers. The Giants get the nod on Dends. Are Dline overall is the best in the division. Now I know people will see this and go No Ffreaking Way lol. Just hear me out.
We have Jevon Kearse and Darren Howard On Dends now thats no Strahan and Usi but they are very good. Jevon hasnt had A good end Opposite from him since 04 and who was that guy oh Derrick Burgess. Yeah he lead the league in sacks unfortunately Our front office made that misatke and let go to the Raiders. But now Darren Howard Is pro Bowl caliber and The freak is on the other end . What ever Qb you are pressure will be coming from every where. To quote Tiki Barber. He said his toughest games is always against the eagles . he said after those games he feels the most beat up he ever has.
The eagles have alot of the pieces the Ginats are still building for so the eagles get the close edge in the division. The eagles Oline is the best in the division. The eagles have the best Qb in the division and Overall defense in the Division.
Our Dtackle depth is way better. We got Broderick Bunkley at Dt the 14th Pick Overall a real blue chipper and are first round pick last year was also a Dtackle last year so we are stacked at Dtackle. So yeah watch out. The Giants linebackers get the edge if healthy they will reak havoc with the run and blitz.
The Redskins our gonna be last in the division and I will tell you why. The have no Qb and had a last Place schedule last year and the division is always getting collectivley better. Also They sign all these big names and it never works out. They have no depth on the Oline and Dline. The online isnt up to Job Gibbs stadards yet.
The cowboys who are hated by all. There offense automatically gets better with a TO who's doesnt ? There weakness is an inconsistent young defense and A weak blind side on the oline not protecting bledsoe I.E losing Larry Allen etc etc. The scouting report on Bledsoe is he does not react well to pressure I.E interceptions and fumbels. So if you pressure bledsoe you will contain the T.O threat simply beacuse bledsoe is not mobile he likes kurt warner with a better arm Gianrs fans know about Mr Warner. If you look at Terell Owners career he always has played with a mobile quaterbacks Mcnabb and Gracia which allows you to expose breakdowns in a defense and buy more time to throw the ball down field. Thats something he wont have with bledsoe. By the way Gracia is an eagle know and gives us the best depth at QB, If bledsoe gets time their Offense will be hard to contain defensivley for anyone.
There running game is good at times but is spotty so I have them at third finishing behind the Giants and not making the playoffs. But they could flip with Giants easily. Remember the same thing happen to the cowboys last year with Redskins. The Redskins stole the first game and crushed them in the second. The same thing could happen as concerns the Cowboys Giants. Mainly because of T.O if him and bledsoe are on the same page Watch out. Plus TO has a rep for crushing all and any giants secondary The playoff game where the feild goal snap was botched and when he was on the eagles.
Basically The divsion is gonna be tough and its a tough one to call everybody has gotten betrer in some form or another and everbody in the NFC east will be beating up on each other. So its gonna either be the Giants or Eagles. I am going with the birds. The differnce make is the QB and Secondary.
