First Day of Senior Year
by well, i woke up pretty early. had time to clean my white adidas too. i had to be in skool by 7:43am, and first was homeroom and gettin stuff settled. here's my schedule:

1st: Architectural Design
2nd: Computer Science
3rd: Webpage Design
4th: Calculus Honors
5th: Phys Ed/Health
6th: Lunch
7th: Psychology
8th: Foods/Nutrition
9th: English CP
Dismissal: 2:09
i don't like my schedule for some reason, i dunno why. i just don't want a lotta work cuz i don't have one study hall or an easy-A class i can do homework in. architecture is ok i guess, not familiar with anything tho cuz i got permission to skip a CAD class and be put in that one. computer science seems ok too. webpage design, i think my teacher's gay. calculus, well... i'm thinkin it's gonna be a lotta work. gym sucks, don't really have anyone to talk to or mess around with. gym is usually my fav cuz i can goof around and stuff but this year looks like it's gonna be boring. lunch has TOO many kids and so little time. psychology... ugh, seems like another english class, but my fav teacher teaches that so i guess things will be ok. foods, this might be my break for the day from working. and english, might be fun, but i just hope i don't have a lotta work to do.
see with me, i'm totally not used to reading a book at home cuz the last few years i had new or messed up english teachers. so psychology and english are gonna be the toughest i think. later on in the year dismissal is gonna be like 2:30 cuz there'll be a seperate new skool for the little 6th graders. my skool right now has grades 6-12, it's crazy. i just wanna get thru this year and graduate lol.

my sophomore and junior years were more crazy but in a good way. it was from 7:00am-11:52am. half days everyday :) but this year is so different, i'm really not used to it

long story, but to make it short, my high school/middle school is one huge building for 7-12th graders. the town wanted to reconstruct the 6th grade school so they had to cram them into the high school. since the high school doesn't have enough rooms for all the students in grades 6-12, we have split schedules. grades 9-12 went in 7am-12pm, grades 7-8 went in 10:30am-3:30pm, and grade 6 11:30am-4:30pm.

well, kinda. just lost one class in my schedule. i coulda graduated early this year. but because of the half days, i wouldn't have enough credits to do that.
So..you got a lot less schooling then most of us? not fair.

man.. what a schedule. highschool was so long ago for me. can't believe i'm that old. i still feel like a goofy senior... my schedule :
1st - Mythology
2nd - gym
3rd - cooking
4th - finger paint
GO HOME ! i dont know if i could have taken a harder schedule senior year.
my senior year was spent in "movie club" which i invented...and doing independent studies of my bed.
senior year is supposed to be a year of relaxation! I'm thinkin' you should drop some classes, and load up on electives and study halls, haha...thats the real way to go!

I relaxed my senior year to the point of not going at all.. i home schooled and pioneered for half a year. Home school worked out good. 4 classes, english, planning your career, history, psychology. it took me 2 years to finish hahahahhahahah
man my senior year i didn't have to get to school until 9:30....
Pete..senior year must be easy and fun. I had two hard classes and insisted on dropping the third one because it required too much thinking. thinking is bad.
each class is 5 credits. i need like.. 30 more. and that's 40 right there. i can drop out 2 classes. english and gym are required tho.

PROM WAS TORTURE!!!....goodness, everybody expects you to go, it's SUCH tradition, one of the defining moments, where being different was VERY annoying..truthfully, I probably would of went if my parents let me go(some witness parents actually let their kids attend prom)..I suppose it's best that I didn't..but..it was hard - what w/the knowledge that there these two specific girls, both of whom i found very attractive, that were extremely obvious about trying to get me to ask'm..and then the taunts that I was probably "playing for the other team" because no guy in their right mind would turn down these girls..AHHH!!!....THE AGONY!
I loved my senior year...2 gym classes and English and then I got to go home at like 10:30...plus no exams. It was great!
My senior year.. i dont even remember, i was going to college i think, and working and homeschooling, it sucked... but better than now, i had some free time... haha
Congratulations on starting senior year, I just started mine today. Lots of fun so far, haha. Junior year I thought was really great but everyone says senior is the best so maybe so. Plus I have study hall last period so i can leave early!
This study hall thing I see as no fair. I always had study hall either first or last and I was never allowed to come in later or leave early..unjust.
thanks, mine's is decent, could be better. i miss my junior year so bad tho. i got along better with the seniors then my classmates. now that they're gone, it's weird not havin them. leaving early is cool, senior privileges rock.
truthfully, out of all 4 years of highschool, I think psychology is the only class where I actually fealt I learned something usefull....of course, I, like anybody, learned and gained skills in other classes, but, the only one that I can conciously sense benifit from was psychology, awesome class...you'll understand you and everybody else a lot better
