by Ok I realized I hadn't written a journal in a long time... that was probably about the same time ty's thoughts started making sense to me ...but yesterday was such a fun day I gotta write about it.
Our hall...used to organize softball and whatever...but then the brother who always got it together moved away...and occasionally we play football...and it's fun. It is. But yesterday was going to be nice according to the weather report, so I thought...why not do something different and just invite everyone to play for fun?
This idea did not work out...quite the way I intended. I invited like 12 people, guys and girls, whoever showed up could play. About two hours before we were supposed to play, my phone started ringing. LIKE CRAZY. Guys callin from all over. "Yo i heard you're gettin a game together! what time, and where?" I had to explain it wasn't a normal game, just going to mess around. they could play, but no cleats. and no being serious. "oh." they said. And hung up.
5 minutes later.."yo! i heard you're gettin a HUGE game! i can't wait!". Again- "no." this was getting annoying. come if you want, invite whoever, but just have fun, it's two hand touch, i tried to convey.
ALLL afternoon it happened. "yo! I have like 10 guys who want to play! make a team and come play us!" what, like I have nothing better to do than organize sweaty guys to get together? Man, ANYTIME I want, I've realized I could get 50 guys to play if you mention the word "tackle". So easy. Also VERY gay. Try and get 5 girls who want to play. Not so easy.
But in the end...8 or 10 people...running around for the fun of it. I had also invited this girl from my hall...and she picked up the ball...and hit me with a pass at like 20 yards PERFECTLY. I was like...where did you learn this??? I was shocked. She said .. "my dad taught me"...she instructed some running plays...she even blocked...a lot of talent. I brought her chinese food later to show my appreciation. haha.
So..dont' call me if you're a guy and want to play with 50 other sweaty guys tackling the crap out of each other. because i don't care. (ok, once in a while i care. but not a lot.)

I wish I coulda played..sounds like fun not being too serious and all. We used to play soccer down here and everyone was welcome, and they still are welcome but they are waaay too serious about it.
yo soccer is a serious sport, least you didn't have rioting and trampling like at a real game!

i was talkin to my friend, and he was saying...why do we always have to organize big stuff...like, we call everyone, hey, come, it'll be fun...why can't we just do stuff for the fun of it...and i got to tell him about my day yesterday. bringing it back. just for kicks.
i'm such a fan of organizing stuff. you get something you wanna do, call up a million people to get the majority opinion on it and then organize it. often when others organize it comes out a big mess.

Well..when we used to play on the beach it was guys can tackle guys, girls can tackle guys, girls can tackle girls..but guys had to do two-hand touch on girls. I see the logic in this so no little girls get hurt..but it also kinda takes some of the fun out.
yea.. the two hand touch thing is no better then the tackling... u boys better start watching where ur hands are!
this one time. this boy went to tackle this girl that had um.....well he couldn't figure out where he could touch her to tag her out.... so he looked her up and down and then just motioned her past him so she could score a touch-down.
normally the shoulders are a good idea. anywhere on the back. or you could just push them down on the ground, lol. a better idea is to use flags.
Its football little girls shouldnt be able to play its a contact sport give me tackle any day
