by So...I just wrote the final news post on my band's website....Ophelia's basically over, at least for the time being. & I feel like I just broke up w/a girlfriend or something - so many good times w/that band. Why the breakup?...Our bassist, who none of us could get along with no matter how hard we tried, left, on his own, a while ago. So, we're like "ok lets just find another bassist"...Then, our singer starts to get all flighty, for personal reasons, & reasons we're probably not even aware of..It took us a WHILE to find him, so, his leaving would definatley hurt things, good singers are hard to find. And then, along comes this other project, a band from West Milford&Sussex, lost their singer, & guitarist, so, me & bobby start messing around w/them, and it turns out, things are going to be magnifacent - as far as that band goes anyway. Ophelia was basically an outlet for just about every type of music I listen to..Jazz, metal, rock, it was all there...And I enjoyed the music very much...From what we've heard, although people only heard us once, a lot of others enjoyed it too - & it's such an amazing feeling to have your artistic vision appreciated. Now, here I am, in a one-genre band..And, as good as it's sounding, I still wish I had another band to let the other ideas out as well..."sigh"..Whatever...This band is sounding pretty nice, i'm gonna stop complaining, lol...but..if you know or know of any open minded musicians, who like dabbling, definately let me know...

I haven't told u yet?..i feel like I have for some reason..but this kid named Joey from west milford - he was there when we went to that drive in theater...also, james from sussex, and, derrick from sussex,who is somehow associated w/some guy named toney who has an ezabel sn that goes something like ralphwiggumrock, and me, and bobby, who the indians refer to as "Skull of fire"..

haha, dude, it's not THAT long..it rolls off the tounge...Rage Against The Machine takes even longer to say...and nobody complains about them....but, yeah, we like it a lot, i think it's what we're using..despite your criticism!

Another R.A.T.M. fact: Tom Morello & Adam Jones(of tool)grew up playing together in different bands, and basically taught eachother how to play - which might partially explain their unique & avante-garde styles

thats great, because i was going to suggest you take it in the backstreet boys direction. I've always felt that was the best way for you to go, but I always felt weird saying it. Glad we are on the same page though. So, I have another suggestion, you need theme costumes. I was thinking maybe you could all dress in jungle attire, maybe...animal print, loin cloth, furs...that type of thing.
Oh that's perfect. And Byran, don't even think about going to anyone else but me to make the loin cloths..you know I'm the best in town with prices.

Good News: We're covering Sic Transit Glory...Glory Fades by brand new....so fun to play!!..haha, the verse to that song is so cool, a couple times we just zoned out on that begining verse w/the cool bassline over & over for like 5 minutes straight
