Pillow Covers

It starts with pillow covers when your little. You place them on your head and have your little sister hold the end as you take absurdly slow steps down the stairs in your house, yelling at your sister when she forgets to hum the wedding march (which you fail to notice sounds more like a death march..or perhaps the graduation march?). It changes throughout the years. Next, it goes to giggling with a few friends as you sit in your flower and pastel decorated room. Endless discussions are held there on what your dream guy looks like (oddly enough, 9 out of 10 times he resembled Zack Morris from Saved by the Bell). That slowly evolves into middle school where note books are covered in your first name, and your latest crush's last name (written next to a cross out of last week's crush's name). It's all leading up to one of the biggest events in your life. Your wedding day. Now, at 17 I think I'm still a bit too young to be exactly planning that. It's nice to dream though isn't it? The perfect dress..good tasting cake..and of course the perfect guy. I guess what really matters though is that your happy and that everything works out wonderfully. I mean..it can't turn out too bad after practicing walking down the stairs with your little sister holding the pillow case end for you while humming the death march can it?
