ANOTHER debut?
by December 20th, 2002... Band From Society will be performing at the Hamilton Street Cafe in Bound Brook, NJ. We've played a few parties before, but this will be our first show at a public venue, my first show playing guitar, and Jesse's first show playing lead.
There is a possibility that other JW bands, Absolute Zero and the Jay Karas band will be playing too. The thinking is, when you drive that far, it would be pretty annoying to see just one of your friends' sucky bands play right? So we thought it would be cool if you could see THREE of your friends' sucky bands play all at once! it's like killing 3 birds with one stone. So hopefully AZ and the JK band will be able to play. If not, it will still be good times.
The tickets will probably cost between 6 and 8 bucks if you buy from the bands, and 10 bucks if you buy them at the door. I hope you all can make it!

DIRECTIONS
There's directions on the site, but there's a few things that are confusing, they have directions from other highways too... but here they are from 287:
From Rt. 287 North: Get off at Exit 13 "BOUND BROOK". Turn LEFT onto Rt 28 East (Union Ave). Go thru 5 traffic lights. (the 5th traffic light is for Mountain Ave) Immediately after going thru the 5th traffic light, make your first RIGHT onto Hamilton St. (the street is not marked, but it's right after the light at Mountain Ave) The cafe is at the bottom of the hill on the left.
From Rt. 287 South: Get off at Exit 13, "Bound Brook, Rt 28.". Make a LEFT at the light onto Rt 28 East. Go thru 5 lights. After the 5th light, make a RIGHT onto Hamilton St. (the street is not marked, but it's right after the light at Mountain Ave). Cafe is 1/2 mile down on the left hand side.

When I auditioned for you alone in that room with all the candles and pillows you clearly told me that you " enjoyed my moves" and you told me to dance slower while removing my clothes. And when i asked "why"? you said " because we'll be playing in hott venues, so I want to see how you adapt" . I believed you! and look what you do for me...

now i know every congregation now has their own witness band, which i think is really really sad. i mean knock yourselves out, but everyone wants to be rockstars these days. its sad.

why thank you matt. your words are so kind. we are looking forward to playing with some real talent on friday. lookin forward to it. well the thing is we have 4 originals. the only problem is... they arent even close to finished. we got plenty of covers (no surprise there).

well see when we conform to the teachings of the Lord where he states that we are to be no part of this world just as he was no part of this world (John 17:16), we become enemies of the world, as was foretold at John 17:14 the world has hated them because they are no part of the world. Therefore, when we submit to Christs rulership we put ourselves at odds with the world, and seeing that we are different they turn to hating us and in effect.... BANNING us from society.

well this is tough. since the last time i read bolivian was 24 years ago.
but if i remember correctly "ste" is bolivian for Hungarian, "p" is of course bolivian slang for "POLISH" . "Sev" is polish for wife beating and "en" is vietnamese for "talentless monkeys"
