Censorship vs. Self-censorship
by most would agree that they are against censorship. but what about self-censorship?
i realize that ian's initial scope for this site has evolved into its own amalgum of thoughts and ideas. a while back, i read a journal comment that said something like, 'i would have liked to have seen this as a news story.' that got me thinking about my journal entries before posting them. thus i reconsidered some of my initial rants for a news story submittal. some have made it, and some have not.
what i find interesting is that for those that were rejected, i did not then exercise my 'freedom of post' on the journal side with the exact same story. but why is that? why this form of self-censorship?
anyone else tortured nocturnally by this nonsense?

hey tina remember the time we drove to red bank and ed was pissed about something stupid but jahanna let me drive her car and i still had a good time but ed was pissed about something stupid...wow i have a lot of good memories.
