To Dye For...

Have you ever just felt like you need a change?! You've been doing the same old boring routine and are in a rut? Well, thats how I felt for the past week. And this feeling usually comes once every 6 months. What do i end up doing? Something different with my hair... Honestly I think I've had every color in the book (besides maybe blue). Sometimes its a drastic look: and other times... it was more of a subtle natural look. The very first time was a little too extreme, even for me. I looked like ex-Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell. Then about 2 years ago... my hair was long, blond & curly...and some people told me that i had a vague resemblance to Miss Spears Well, once I got tired spending time at the hair salon looking like a human radio recption tower: I decided that I wanted to go a little bit darker, but I was a little short of cash, so i went to Sally Beauty Supply and picked up a bottle Ash Brown hair color But for those of you who have not tried doing that (going from blond to ash brown) DONT TRY IT! That turns your hair GREEN! So i sat during the Theocratic Ministry School & Service Meeting, almost in tears b/c my hair was "bugar" green. Kamila & I have had many of these horrific experiances....MANY (Unassigned Terr.-hair is green turned bright yellow-back to dull green; My house...red rinse; Kamila's house- not blond enough; Daytona Beach- Bleach) But, in the end it all ends up a-okay BLAH BLAH BLAH...YADA YADA YADA.... the time finally came around again today. My hair is no longer the weird brownish blondish highlighted blegh color....It is now a ViBrAnT red color. So now instead of singing about Rita, Shania can sing about Tina...the redhead down the lane.....

UPDATE By Punk Princess: Well... a bad thing happened today. I had to go back to the hair salon to let her finish putting in the red (the first time, since my hair is highlighted, didnt take to the dye evenly). SO, when i went back, she convinced me to put in blonde highlights...over the red...well...she put in STREEKS!!! So i have two blonde streeks in the front of my head. and basically looke JUST like Ginger Spice...AND! I have a talk on the meeting tonight...AND! its my last meeting at this congregation...talk about going out with a bang! (actually, it DOES look kinda kool...but its totally not appropriate...) I have to figure out a way to HIDE it!...Kamila..its gonna be a long night! haha...
