Prizm Break
by Around 8:50 this morning, while on my way to class, I thought I should grab some cash before starting the day. As usual I signalled the required one hundred feet in advance ;) and, while waiting to make my left turn into the bank SMASH! Watching pieces of my tail light soar in front of my car, I realized that I had just been struck by an Indian Spring water truck. What could be worse?...how about having cars honking for you to get out of the way. Anyway, the man was really nice and felt terrible about the whole thing. I casually mentioned that I work for an attorney, and he was even nicer (haha, just kidding - I didn't). The State Trooper came and filled out the report while I tried to joke around with the truck driver. It must have been quite a scene for passersby (including my boss, a classmate, and June Westburg). Just to set your minds at ease, the truck caught the side of my car with his tire, crushing in the side of my trunk and loosening the bumper....the Geo will survive!
I guess I'm just another eZabel victim....

i've mentioned before, i've never been in a major accident. i've been rear ended at like 2 miles an hour, and i've rear ended people at like 2 miles an hour. like last week on my way to school, i was driving in newark like the maniac that i am, and i turned a traffic light really fast because it had turned red, and i stopped short and thought to myself, "man, i'm really close to that car ahead of me". well, i let off the brake, and my car STARTED PUSHING THE CAR AHEAD OF ME. thats right, i had stopped the car just as it touched the bumper of the car ahead of me. well the guy got out of his car, looked at it, looked at me, and said "you better be more careful buddy" got back in his car and that's that. But i've never been in a major accident. except when somebody opened a door into my old volvo, but with that piece of crap you couldn't tell anyway.
seriously though, it's people like YOU that make the insurance companies charge ME more! they put me in a "high risk" bracket, because i'm the same age group as you wackos who can't drive! Man, so unfair that I have to be grouped with you losers. hahahahaa (tina didn't you get into an accident recently too?)

hmmm, good question. 4 here.
5...BUT NOT all my fault, and the 3rd doesnt really count. 1st-wasnt my fault...2nd-was said to be my fault but in further inspection the guy passed on a double yellow line. 3rd- there was a semi-truck parked next to my driveway, i was driving towards it and instead of pressing on the breaks i pressed on the gas. 4th- making a left on a yellow light didnt see a car coming RIGHT TOWARDS me. 5th- TODAY UGH! making a left i checked the right side, it was clear, went...not realizing the left side had a car coming.

man, katie! i'm so glad you're okay. two in one week is so scary. it's so scary to be at other drives' mercy. no matter how good a driver you are, it's so easy to get hurt

that would stink if they total your car :( it's so sad, because what a book values your car as is so much less than what it's worth to you. i hope they don't. but, if they do... you get a new car! yay!
don't worry if they total it... i know it seems like the worst thing when you hear that, but, hey, you know, you'll end up with some cash which will make a good down payment on a new(er) car. mikayla's car was totalled, and she loved that thing, even though it was an old 1991 with 160k+ miles on it. but, we went out and got her a new(er) civic, 1998, with 70k on it or so, and it's an LX model, with the power windows and cd player and sunroof and stuff. she loves it! plus, her payments are only like $15 more than when she got her old civic. so, you know what i'm saying: chin up!
