This World Is Sick
I heard on the news yesterday that two siblings (15 year old girl and 10 year old boy) killed their 6 year old brother in Texas. The report didn't give any reasons for the murder, but it is very shocking. What could motivate a sibling to kill their other sibling? Now when a brother or sister says "I'll kill you!!" the parents might think twice about it and not take it as a joke.
Even though in this area it is not so common, except for the incident in Allentown, PA 8 or so years ago, there hasn't been an incident like this. But in the incident in PA, the two murderers were adults, while the murderers in Texas were just juveniles. It wouldn't be surprising for it to happen here though. Things these days are getting more and more shocking.
What do you guys think?

Welcome to the world, how was your bubble you been living in?
Can we have happy storys on here please and not make this like the news which is only 90% about sick or bad stuff.
I'm sure i can find worse stuff this but i choose not to cause i don't need to hear about any more demented stuff then i have already!
aww, c'mon magnum (joe?), don't u know that sighing and groaning over the conditions around us help identify us on God's side?
this story is very sad. i don't think kids understand what death is. i mean, how many video games give u cheats for 'unlimited lives'? if u play halo, u can keep dying and coming back. i'm not saying these kids thought their little brother was going to come back right away, but i think satan's world desensitizes them to real life.
i feel really bad for the parents. here they are thinking someone kidnapped their son, and they were probably holding onto their two other kids for dear life...then they learn the two older kids were responsible for their youngest's death! they've got to be in so much pain right now. of course, i'm sure the media will dig up the fact that they were rotten parents and ultimately responsible for the whole situation. then, satan will succeed in taking down a whole family of five, and possible their extended family and friends as well (not to mention any classmates of the three kids).
'How long, O Jehovah, must I cry for help, and you do not hear? [How long] shall I call to you for aid from violence, and you do not save? Why is it that you make me see what is hurtful, and you keep looking upon mere trouble? And [why] are despoiling and violence in front of me, and [why] does quarreling occur, and [why] is strife carried?' (Habakkuk 1:2, 3)
Im sorry i have been playin video games for many years now, and i never once thought hey if i take this shotgun and shot someone they will come back to life. All that garbage about videogames to blame is stupid. Unless your are mental imbalanced nothing you watch on tv or play should effect how you go about your REAL LIFE.
This story is sad but there is dozens like this, maybe im desensitized to seeing them because they are basically becoming normal. But that is just the world we live in now.
i remember when video games first came out, and they've come a loooooong way. i hadn't played any in a long time, then i sat down with pac-man's world on PS. i was getting nauseous and worried about falling off the edge of the spinning wheels on the circus board. then, i figured out how to find extra life pieces. once i had 40 or 50 lives built up, i didn't worry about falling off the edge of the spinning wheels. that's what i mean about 'desensitizing'.
it's starting: Siblings who admitted killing had troubled past
wow "stabbed in the neck and suffocated", these kids were going hardcore.
I agree with Sal!
who's sal?
hahaha what??
My mom was watching the news the other day and was very upset about israel soldiers dying. i got annoyed with her going on about it though because i just pointed out to her that things like this happen every day for hundreds of years. just because now you know about it doesnt make it any worse.
horrible things like murders happen every day. you cant worry and get upset over one incident if you dont over the others. you have to find a median where you're not so effected that you go insane but where you're not cold hearted.
that's so true. we only hear the stories the media decides to publish. when's the last time u heard about a plane crash? they happen all the time, but right now are just a brief blurb on a news site. (i think one happened in india or korea recently.) ur right about not going nuts over every single report.
