Ricorda Italia!
SO, we have kept you in suspense long enuff! Here is the long awaited story of Italy!!!!!!!!!!
So MANY wonderful experiences. We met people that we will never forget. Laughed more than imaginable. And ATE more than possible! AND! one thing i would like to bring out... did Jahanna and i fight at all?? NOOOOOO! We've become closer than ever! we are beyond sisterhood!
HEY HEY! I was there too! i gotta put my two cents in. (My two cents is FREE)<---Eminem-"without me"-one song of the trip!
haha! yea! and that Kylie Minoge song (at first sight) too! At first that song was soooo annoying, with that weird video, but now every time i hear it, i turn it up! :) or... DOO WAP! was a hit too ;) Music makes the world go round!
Its hard to say just what was the best part of the trip....
I totally agree! So many different places, and different faces.
The 5 cities that we went to were Torino(amazing people), Venice(high prices) Florence (smells like leather), Ischia(ahhh the beach) and Rome(phenominal architecture, im STILL in awe). In every city we saw everything possible! (almost)

In Torino we knew a few people and met a bunch more, so they took us EVERYWHERE! and yes, it is true, the guys are just as beautiful as thought! (way beyond hot) :)
The people of Torino...were the most friendly people I've ever met. Not once did we have to pay for any type of food while we were there. And all they kept saying was "MANGIA" (eat!) They were sooo very nice.
In Venice we went touring around and saw Piazza San Marco and the gondolas actually are EVERYWHERE!! The scenery was just awesome! One night we went to the supermarket and bought a bunch of stuff...like fresh cheese and olives and sun-dried tomatos...it was SO good and SO stinkin cheap! The other night we went to a "discoteca" and met up with some Americans.
haha the handmade glass store do not i repeat DO NOT go in there... stupid... broken glass... The beach was really pretty, the sand so soft!!! YOu know that Library in Indiana Jones? we SAW it!! so kool!
You know, i didnt like Florence that much... Shopping was nice, buying leather and all that jazz... but i guess i just didnt feel that safe... but thats where we got to use the Internet Cafe... hahaha such dorks :) i love it!
Yea, I agree but it was cool that we got to see some famous museums and statues, including "the David" by Michaelangelo hahaha so funny, to bad it was a replica oh yea, and not to mention getting stalked! ahhhhh!
In Ischia, we spent 4 WONDERFUL days hanging out on the beach....and by the pool.
OH man! it was SO awesome!!! I would recommend Ischia to ANYONE! it was BEAUTIFUL. Our hotel, was only $60 a night but included breakfast, lunch, and dinner, OF SUCH AMAZING FOOD an in ground pool...and much more. What did we do while we were there? well, ill tell you a typical day. We would wake up at about 8:30 or 9 am, stroll down and get some breakfast, then go to the pool and lay out, turn over at about 10:30 and lay out....swim a bit, and lay out some more, then get up at about 1, and get our lunch served to us...which was like a 5 course meal, then go back to the pool, and lay again...when we got tired of that, we would go to the beach, and well, lay down... near the water, then it would be time for dinner...oh the magnificance o fit! we would then go back by the pool and lay on lounge chairs, by then, we were so tired.... ya know from all the laying, we would go back to our room and sleep. :) loverly.
We're so happy we saved Rome for last....it had the most amazing sites! We saw SO much. The Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia, the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, the Roman Forum, the Rome bethel, Vatican City (St. Peter's Basillica) and the Collesium. And most of these things were in walking distance of eachother. You'd just be walking down the street...and "Hey look at that! there's the Colliseum!" seriously! it was so strange!
OH yea Certainly! it was awesome! And while at Bethel, we met some brothers from US (Seatle) who were going sight seeing that day also, so we got to go all together! Only as Jehovah's Witnesses could that ever happen! So wonderful.
Overall this was the trip of a lifetime! And its so great that we had SUCH an awesome time and still we're able to say that we dont regret ANYTHING! We met and hung out with tons of cool witnesses, some of which are coming to visit soon!! (SO EXCITING!!) And saw amazing things! I loved it! :-D (Even though I did miss all my friends...more than a little!) :)
i completely agree!! There are so many wonderful memories (MY NAME... IS YOSEPH!--- NO! YOUUUUUURE wife!---YO DUDE!*slap*---"tina come in here" *tina comes in* *a confused/horrified look spreads over tina's face* "i said DONT COME IN HERE!"---"what means this sorry? what is the significance of it"---it all comes back to the hand jig--- getting stuck in between closing train doors--- IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SWIM WITHOUT A BATHING CAP!--- GOOOOOOODBYE AMERICA!--- "i thought you were the lamb"---*stealing of pillow*--- i laughed so hard... i had to pee...--- if tina does it, its okay--- "are there drivers? who are you?")Oh yea! and making the Italians say insane things! "CALL HIM A DORK!" "Dork means Cierco?"lol
So many memories that will never be forgotten! FORZA ITALIA!!!!!!! hahaha good times! :)

Yeah, that's why I didn't get to read all the colorful words... too distracted ;-)
hotties, WHERE? where the hotties at? oh them.... j/k ;)
too long to read, sorry jahanna...Tesoro 1721: and write a meaningful comment... so sorry hey, who were those two hotties in the first pic?.... hotties.... hotties!
girls, this sounds sooooooooo awesome, I really really want to start traveling the world (not just to snowboard, because then I'm too limited). I'm really excited to go see Italy and Spain, and whatever else I can go and see. After a story like this, and the stories my sister told of preaching in Costa Rica, I want to start learning some foreign languages, and get MOVIN! Thanks for the cool 2 points of view story telling. I don't understand the mass confusion at the end, but...it's all good.
i completely recomend traveling! but if youre going to go with someone, go with someone you trust, and have a lot in common with. you dont wanna be stuck seeing things you dont want to, when you really wanna.. take a nap :) hahahaha
"they want to take us out again?!?! MAN! all I wanna do is SLEEP!"
Hey Todd, don't forget we have plans to hopefully go to Jamaica to visit my missionary friends... we can also go to Tanzania (maybe... but it's expensive and who knows what that country will be like by then!!!) And there's always Trinidad and Tobago!
i want to go to Beirut and Saudi Arabia... and Detroit.
I want to visit the projects of Brooklyn..
nothign really to see. just drive to camden nj
brooklyn heights are more my style
i want to take a nice peaceful vacation to the fire swamp
lol, it's great, I love watching all the perils of the fire swamp: the ROUS's, and lightning fast quicksand, and of course the random bursts of flames.
ROUS's? I don't think they exist.
Definetly one of the best movies ever. Inconcievable!
aaaaaaasssssssss youuuuuuuuuuuuuu wishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
oooh Pricess Bride. i hated how the girl was so "oh help me" she just stood there when Wesley almost died. upsetting.
Yeah... Princess Buttercup... she was actually my least favorite part of the movie. I think someone else should have played that part...
this one is reply to delliott101(sometimes you can't tell what's replying to what) she was your least favorite part? wow, your the first person i've heard say that. When i was little i would always wear this long red dress i had and pretended i was her...HAHA. boy did i have an imagination!
Oh, who was the actress... (pulls out my copy of Princess Bride)... Robin Wright was so miscast, I think she was kind of lame and had no presence. Everyone else rocked, though, especially Cary Elwes...
We used to have a hill as a front lawn. We used to act out the whole rolling down the hill scene from the movie however we sometimes ended up in the road or othertimes the one playing buttercup pushed the other one a bit too hard.
whats up with this whole princess bride thing.. why does everybody love it so much... i mean yea it was a good movie . i enjoyed it.. but nothing to rave about it... all witnesses love this movie.. well i dont ! i kinda sorta LIKED it. thats it.
It was such a DIFFERENT movie, clean and creative. You had the adventure aspect of it, the self parody of the genre... it was silly and sophisticated at the same time..
Actually I only like it because of that one guy with the six fingers. Him and I are 'involved'.
i love billy crystal and the whole "mostly dead" skit.
it is a total j-dub movie though. i don't know alot of people that aren't witnesses that even heard of it. i really like it...its very rare when you can find a really good movie that you can watch over and over that doesn't have one bad(bad meaning offensive to someone) part to it.
I'm totally going to Italy- soon. I've heard only great things about it and this just tops it. I've also heard that snowboarding in italy is simply amazing, i mean that's not why i would want to go there, i guess aside from all the beautiful architecture and all. I'm glad you shared your story i'm sure you took great pictures that i would love to see.
okay i finally read this. with the exception of the last two paragraphs of BABBLE it was really interesting! i've always wanted to go to italy (and other places in europe), hopefully in a few years i'll have enough saved up where i can go to europe for a month or so. anyway, can't wait to see your pictures!
yeah me too, I just read the whole thing. very cool! I want to go to italy... I think im going to take a trip were I visit Italy, Spain, and Greece
i want to go to Greece sooooo bad. My friend Stacy goes every summer cuz she has tons of family there and she'd always show me pics and tell me about it....it sounded AMAZING....i actually just got a postcard from her the other day! next summer...if Switzerland doenst happen, i'm going to Greece and back to Italy! :)
I FEEL LIKE WE'RE IN THE GREEK ISLES! --how do you know what greek isles are like, have you ever been there...? hahahhaahhaa
hahahha, seriously, in Ischia! it WAS! the houses were all white and blue! come on! so greek! just like...when we were in other parts of Italy...it was like "little Italy EVEYWHERE!" hahahha
and IM the retard? lol
That was all Greek to me!!!
hahaha jaha (since shes calling me Timatha, im going to shorten her name to Jaha) said that
a mediterranean cruise would be so nice
hahaha.. nice the way you broke that up!
hahha, Jaha....that is definatly a first...i guess since i didnt give u much choice on Timatha...i dont have much choice. lol
do both of you speak italian? i used to have this brother in my hall that tried to teach my from when i was 2-7 because you absorb languages when you are younger. i never could catch it though. so hard.
yea, i do...moderatly well i guess....all that matters is that they understood me...i screwed up the grammar alot though...that's whats really tough.
just as a little side point...tongiht i was talking to the italian sister in my hall who helped us plan our trip...and we were just talking some more about it...cuz she's going next week...and its SO sad....i miss it SO much! i wanna go baaaaaack!!
I would like to say that JAHANNA sucks as speaking Italian, I remember I introduced her to this nice Italian brother and he started speaking to her and she was like "CAN YOU SPEAK...ENG-LISH!" and it made her look foolish.
you know what? why dont you go kill yourself! he was speaking in SICILIAN DIALECT!!!!! that is way different from the true italian. its funny that i SUCK so bad...as you say...why is it that i was able to talk to people who didnt know A WORD OF ENGLISH! sooooooo SHOVE IT! btw, you did NOT introduce me...i met him already! but you were just the one who said that i can speak italian. maniac.
(i'm really not that mad, just getting my point across) daniel.
my my.... dan, i would start RUNNING if i were you!
OH! my friend just told me about this amazing deal....$500 bucks including the flight to Italy and the hotel for 6 dayssssss!! but its only from nov-dec. cuz its off peak season...but still! that is AMAZING! the plane fare alone was twice as much as that!!!!!!! i sooo wanna do it!! hmmmm....hehe
that's insane! i wanna gooooooooo
i think this whole story is made up. they never went to italy. they hung out in their basement while drawing pictures of italian architecture and eating pasta.
HAHAHA! man, Thai you figured us out...how did you know? wanna come next time?
yea champ. i'm in it to win it when next time rolls around
yeah, and they didn't meet any hot italian guys, they just sat around looking at issues of Italian GQ, drooling.
everybody knows real italian men are short plumbers who wear red overalls and have bushy mustaches. sometimes the taller ones wear green overalls, but still.... that's not hot.
hahha. i thought they wore denim.
hahah good one dean. point.
hahahhaa, yes, actually, walking around the streets....most of the guys looked like they jumped out of an Italian GQ. they're soooo pushy though! holy CRAP! way more so than american guys. it got a little scary when it was just me and Tina...it was SO much better when we were with other guys....cuz then they leave u alone.
Yeah, baby... and they eat mushrooms that make them bigger and pick up flowers that allow them to shoot fireballs...
HAHAHAHA Mario & Luigi!!!!!
