We talk about these types of cases in my Criminology class sometimes, it's absurd! Like the person who broke into someone's house and broke their leg because when they opened the door to go into the basement there were no steps because the family was on vacation and having them done when they came back. He sued the family and won a crazy amount of money because they should have had a notification that the stairs were gone, or they should have locked the door. Regardless of the fact that he was breaking and entering.
